23. Single. My last "real" relationship was way back in highschool. A girl showed vague interest in me and to cut a long story short I was "pressured", for lack of a better word, into asking her out. We didn't even last to the end of the week, it was so painfully obvious we just weren't a good match. Hell we'd just meet up and kiss for a few minutes at break then fuck off back to our respective groups of friends.

I was in a long distance relationship for a while, which ended very poorly. Turns out she was screwing other guys pretty much the whole time. Kinda ruined my trust in the concept of LDR's. Which is a shame, because it seems that I only meet people I'm interested in/attracted to online.

I suppose I should mention I'm also still a virgin, but with a trip to Amerstam coming up I'm interested to see whether my various hang-ups about one night stands and such holds out against innate primal urges.

Currently single. Don't expect that to change any time soon. You know that movie The 40-year old Virgin? Yeah that'll be me in about 7 years, only without the douchebag friends and the happy ending. (I haven't actually seen the movie)

Single, as I have been since 2009. I had a short 2-3 month relationship and that is all of my relationship experience ever.

The Cubone is almost perfect for this thread....
well, just replace lost mother with significant other...

OT: (Appears to be the norm) Single... Always have, and with no current prospects of changing it...

There is that hope that someone will mysteriously appear out of the ether, but I won't hold my breath...

Then again, getting my hopes up is usually what starts the downhill slide, so I'm just not even bothering with trying to find someone because it just turns into a lot of work with absolutely no payoff...

Maybe one day...

SIngle and aiming to keep it that way! I have far too many problems as it is to be worrying about a girlfriend!
That was the perfect opportunity to say "I got 99 problems", for shame!

Single and ready to mingle.

...not really. Though I did get a message from a girl I hardly met at Halloween dance last weekend. We've been talking on Facebook, which is bizarre, because I was getting a very intense "fuck-off" vibe from her at the event and kept my distance for the rest of the night after our first interaction.

Been Married for 4 years, been with her for 12 years.

Kinda scary cause it still feels like yesterday that we first met and that much time has gone by. But we are both people who like the simple things in life so we get along without any issues. We have ourselves a soon to be 4 year old boy, and the three of us all like playing games as well as many other activities.

Never really had a long time out of relationships once I started dating. Just little breaks in-between depending on how said relationship ended. But I am pretty sure I am with my girl now for life.

Single and pretty comfortable with it. I'm not exactly what most people would call relationship material but I like to think I would be able to make the effort if I met the right person.

Single and lonely ...

Wow, that sounds rather pathetic.
Let me rephrase that, "single and hopeful". That sounds much better.

As stated, I am currently single, and I am currently looking for a girlfriend. I'm not desperate at all, I have all the patience in the world when it comes to romance. I'm just hopeful that I come across someone, or "the one".

Yeah, when it comes to romance and love, I'm not a realist.

Currently dating, so I wouldn't know what to put myself in a category as it's sort of the grey area in-between single or taken.

As a person who beforehand was single (and still identify as, for the sake of the topic), I had been out of a relationship for roughly two years previously. I can easily say being in a university environment gave me a sort of scare for the fact that so many of my fellow course-friends or friends in general 'easily' found relationships yet I was still single. Although I was perfectly content with being single, it gave me the stimulus to ask the current person out!

Here's to the future then, ey?

20, never, ever been in a relationship. Doesn't mean I don't have people I'm interested in, just don't have time to pursue a relationship. Not to mention that particular person is as busy as I am. So yeah I'm single, not particularly looking intently for a relationship in the immediate future.

Currently single. A 3 years relationship of mine ended in May and it wasn't my choice. So I'm busy dealing with that shit and kind of focusing on work and bulking season. I've had a few hookups since then but nothing relationship-y.

I guess the recurring phrase is "Single For Life." Would very much like to try my hand at dating sometime.

Taken and very soon to be married for the second time this year.

To the same person, don't worry.
