Astonishingly Divine BioShock Infinite Gameplay Trailer Out

i dont know, it may be stupid but i couldnt enjoy bioshock 2 because of the frustratingly little ammo anywhere, then the drill had about 3 seconds of drilling until it runs out so i had to constantly melee everything and that put me off this when i heard about it. Having never played the first bioshock i have no idea what the think to the games on a whole so i can only judge based on what i have seen on bioshock 2. Hopefully this will be much different to bioshock 2 as im assured by others that it will be but i dont know yet. by the sounds of it ill have a long time to decide; when does this come out?

Why even attempt to play bioshock 2 without the original? And I don't know how you didn't have ammo, halfway through the game I had a full wallet and was tripping over spare ammo, and that was on the hardest difficulty.

Looks absolutely amazing. The lightning storm had me actually shouting victoriously at the screen.

So long as it's a re-skinned Bioshock 1, I don't really care.

I have to second this, why bother playing number 2 if you haven't even touched number 1. Bioshock 1 is where it's all at.

Big change from the old silent characters of last two games. "That's just making him angry!" "HE WAS ALREADY ANGRY!"

Lot of bioshock influence, to the point that yeah, it looks like Bioshock 3: This time, we have clouds! The big mechanical flier doesn't even have a unique voice, it's just a big daddy roar straight from the deep Atlantic. But, I like the idea of taking someone's shotgun and shooting him with it, and a storm of ravens that hit a bunch of guys is cooler than bees that just attacked one for awhile.

But the Handyman? you can't just say that's a reskinned big daddy, that guy was HUGE!

Gotta see more. Will probably wind up getting it unless there's a massive public outcry of shenanigans upon release, I love the stories Irrational tells. Even if it's just Bioshock III.

Also, anyone else think the main character sounds like Adam West?

That was about 80% scripted, including player movements... Painfully obvious...

Great trailer all the same, but it's neither detracted or added to my excitement. Still have no idea how this game is truly going to play.

Everything's a re-skinned everything in my book. Modern Warfare is a re-skinned Doom. Deus Ex 3 is probably a re-skinned Deus Ex (muhuhahaha). If it had used the same gameplay but was set in Rapture, I doubt there'd be any criticism over it "being BioShock again."

Oh 2K games - you had me at steampunk city in the sky.

It doesn't matter to me if that's 'official' gameplay footage or not. This sample looked cool enough and they've got two whole years between now and the release date. They've got enough time to to make this flow with the gameplay.

I'm looking forward to this one - looks like you do a lot more with telekinesis this time around, that was always my favourite plasmid when I could find a use for it. One of my favourite moments from Bioshock was seeing a splicer rooting through a corpse's pockets, and then using the telekinesis plasmid to swipe the corpse right from under her and pelt her with it before she even knew what the fuck.

This has to be a diffrent game. It is nothing like bioshock storywise, but why would people randomly attack you?

Well, you killed a man by taking his own gun.
So from the view point of a patriotic citizen you broke into a establishment, Stole, and then committed murder.
It was probably their "Patriotic Duty" to Columbia to exact the law.
That's what i gathered.

It looked more like a Scripted display of some of the things you will be able to do than "Gameplay" footage but either way.
