He's only ever made one good movie and that was The Rock.
That was a Bay film!? Wow, I like that movie. That proves he is capable of a decent film.
One good film doesn't forgive the rest of his crap. A broken clock can be right twice a day.

Update: Wonderful according to IMDB he might very well be remaking The Birds.
I didn't say it forgives it, I just meant that he was capable of making one decent film. That means if he tried, he could do so again, but then again I doubt that.

Wow, is there nothing people won't remake these days?[/quote]

I apologize for insinuating that you were forgiving Michael Bay.

It's not just remaking anything it's remaking (or making sequels of) good films and taking a dump on everything about them.

Rules:

1. It must be live action as little computer as possible please
2. The guy with the hokey mask MUST be in it
3. Make this an origins movie?
4. Don?t try to change the already established characters

Thank you and please don't screw this up, I really loved the turtles. If this is messed up the world will unite with fanboy hate and there will be a witch hunt. The fans are grown up and have resources we can and will find any who mess up our nostalgia.

I watched The Birds in one of my high school english classes and the whole time I was thinking "This isn't bad but it would be so much better if the birds exploded.

I'm honestly fine with it as long as it isn't another "let's start with an origin story and work our way from there." I don't mind reboots, but doing a reboot with an origin story is really starting to get stale.

No worries, I can see how you might have got that idea by what I said XD.

Yeah, basically everything he remakes has been crap.

Sigh...guess nothing from my childhood will ever be sacred. The entertainment industry desperately needs some *gasp* new ideas instead of just rebooting every damn film franchise.

(Wonders how many TMNT fans actually read the original B&W comics)

But here's the main thing, I HATE that with all these reboots and re-imaginings that those become the face of the properties. What I mean is look at a store and try to find a regular Transformer that isn't based on the insect designs from the movies, try to find a GI Joe that isn't based on the Rise of Cobra shit, or hell even a Star Wars design that isn't based on the prequels or animated series. They need to get a clue, especially when (taking the GI Joe example) they did the anniversary line and kept it going because of success you still had a hard time finding them because they were popular, well, that helped get the movie greenlit so they made toys of the movie, but based on the movie versions of the characters. You can't get rid of those things and they kept making them. The stores didn't order them so the line is basically worthless now because they made the movie the face of the brand instead of the iconic originals.

I apologize the clock analogy was inaccurate.

I was soooo happy when they had the comic-verse in Turtles Forever!

Yeah, they need to remember the old fans and such as well as look after the new.
