Bay: Transformers 3 Getting Rid of "Dorky Comedy"

The main fault with Transformers 2 was that Bay put the camera far too close to the action, fights were overly motion-blurred and over edited, with no clear colour-coding on the robots so you knew at all times who was fighting who and who was winning.

His first Transformers was the best movie of all time, his second was a contender for the worst.

I kinda hope the twins actually are in it, for about ten seconds in the intro in which they get horribly killed before getting to utter a line.
Also I'm pretty excited to see shockwave in the movie even if he won't be as cool as he was in any other media. He is my favorite transformer and so yeah, I'll probably end up seeing it just to see how it gets cocked up.

Agreed on the matter of the Twins. In fact, I'd pay good money just to see that happen.

As for Shockwave... he's just awesome in anything he's in. Even commercials.

While I'm glad they're dropping the pointless comedy, I'll be sizing up the next installment, seeing if it's worth my money. Serious tone, you say? I'll just have to wait until the final product.

At least the good news in all of this is no more Jar-Jar Twins.

Edit: Plus, isn't it a bit sad to come out and say, "This time, the third movie will be serious"?
