not really, its an easier way of getting achievements/trophies than having to deal with the Games on Windows mess. plus people like vanilla games too, contrary to PC elitist belief.

OT: taking bets now, first mod is a nude patch.
I have never understood why people like achievements. They are meaningless. My throphy whore friend claims they give him a reason to play games, but the games themselves shouldn't need to bribe you with trophies to get you to play them.

Nah... the Nude patch won't be first. Those take time and effort to make.

I'm going to have to get a new computer for this game.

Awesomesauce, very much welcome news, though I was expecting this already :)

Now just to survive the wait until November...

And what is that elitist belief. Is more free customizable content bad or something?

Great to hear, while I figured there would be an editor it's never good to assume these things and I'm glad they announced this early on.

This is good news indeed. Looking forward to the specifics, can't wait to get some weaponry done.

I've played several modded versions of Morrowind after playing the original for several years and hated all of them. I don't really like the Bethesda modding community, and I sure as hell hope they won't use modding support as an excuse to leave out game features.

Or as an excuse to leave the game broken. Had to help a friend when he purchased Oblivion GOTY edition a few weeks back. One of the stores never opened. Turns out it's a bug that a helpful mod team fixed with an unofficial patch up for download.

Also here's hoping Bethesda do a more Assassin's Creed type city, where only a few important NPC's have owned beds, houses, shops, etc and the rest of the city is fluid randomness. Bethesda cities always seem so stale when the NPCs do the same thing day in day out at the exact same times.

If I remember correctly the textures for a nude mod were already in the game for Oblivion...so you may not be too far off >.>.

Just because a few Morrowind mods didn't work out for you doesn't mean the community is bad, the Oblivion mods are usually more well made and don't crumble under software bugs and such and most mods I've tried made the game a ton more enjoyable or atleast fixed some serious bugs.

Hopefully this game won't need them as horrifically as Oblivion did. Oblivion was hideous and cartoonish as fuck.
