Bethesda Says People Are Still Buying Horse Armor

I'll be honest...I kinda bought the darned horse armor when I first got Oblivion...had some free points leftover so I bought several DLC for Oblivion...I didn't even use the horse, I lost it after 20 mins :>

That's what I'm sure the case is with why it's still selling. The armor is damn convenient, but ultimately not worth paying extra money for. If you have a few loose points to spend after a larger purchase, then I don't see why a person wouldn't just "toss" them by spending them on the armor. I doubt there are better thing on the marketplace to spend $2 on.

ye, not much that costs 400 MS points. Always stuck with 200-400 points I can't use without adding more points since there is no "indie category" on XBAL in Europe..or atleast in Norway.

Yours isn't working? 3 works fine on my 7 PC.

Works for 5 minutes then FO3 crashes, none of the code rewriting tips I get from forums work, nor does the unofficial patch either =/

Is it a straight crash to desktop, or do you get an error message when it happens?

the only DLC,s I legally own are Knights of The Nine and The Shivering Isles. the only one from all the DLC,s I have seen/heard about that is worth it is The Shivering Isles it adds a HUGE amount of stuff too the game but, horse armor is something a modder makes FOR FREE not a big company and it surprises me people are still forking money over to it.

Straight to desktop, no message.

I am, however, going to install vista on my other harddisk when I get my "gaming" pc back so I can play it. After what I've learned it is possible to have Win7 on one harddisk and Vista on other.

Is it a straight crash to desktop, or do you get an error message when it happens?

shivering isles is an expansion, not a dlc. just saying.
horse armor was made by bethesda, not some modder.

and that surprises me, its such a tiny graphical mod and not worth ANY money!

Everyone who's played games before the horse armor knew the damage DLC would do the moment they saw the price tag for two digital items. Now look where we are: We have advertizements in our games selling us DLC that will minimize and send players to a shopping cart

I like the idea of horse armor (not armour) though the fast travel system mades horses kind of unneeded. If they didn't have fast travel (I am in favor of fast travel and use the consol in Morrowind to fast travel) and people were spending a ton of time on their horse this idea would be a lot more popular.

Well, I kind of want the horse armour, I just lack the money. I've bought quite a bit of the Oblivion DLC and all of the Fallout DLC. Whether the DLC is good or not in your opinion, I've always thought that I was getting my money's worth when I bought Bethesda DLC, it's one of the reasons Bethesda is my favourite developer.

I'm gonna guess this is just console...PC's you'd just mod this stuff in. I still don't get why people buy these silly things, even like "gun skins" for deadspace I was stumped. Ya barely see the gun, why bother?

Bring all DLC to PSN and I'll buy it (again). Wizards Tower was fantastic. And what ever the ones with the pirate ship and that enchanted dagger were called too.
