Eh, you can summarize anything in ten minutes, it's just going to be a shitty summary. It doesn't say much about the first game if they can fill you in on the first games plot in a 10 minute cutscene.
Who dares to call a Playstation player a "noob"?Xorph said:You know what, Bioware? I used to look up to you guys. You're one of my favorite game developers of all time, and you pull a dick move like this. So tell me, how many people who own PS3s do you guys think have actually played the game before? Unless they own a 360 or a good PC, they most likely haven't. These people havent been waiting for this. Heck, I'm sure plenty of them have no idea what Mass Effect even is. This is nothing but a straight up dick-slap to all the true fans of the game. You know, the people who actually played both of them when they first came out? Congratu f-ing lations for making a new and improved version of a great game, but at the very freaking least you could release it on all platforms as a GotY edition. Instead, you completly blow of the fans in favor of the noobs who might not even buy the game because THEY DON'T F-ING CARE!
That's because Microsoft have exclusivity rights to the first (it helps if you look up what you're talking about).Ubermetalhed said:I still can't get over the fact they're porting the sequel instead of the first one. I think it's because the first one is published by Microsoft or something.mechanixis said:Eh, you can summarize anything in ten minutes, it's just going to be a shitty summary. So 360 gamers will always have that advantage over the PS3 version. It is pretty silly to start porting on ME2, given that the whole trilogy being interconnected is essentially the core mechanic of the series.
Yeah i had the same idea.Idocreating said:I'd say this was a cash-in to try draw in as many profits for Bioware before Mass Effect 3 releases but i'm sure someone would defend it by saying something like "It's so PS3 owners can play the whole trilogy!".
Still reeks of money grubbing to me. Great game though.
I don't think I've ever said this until now: cool story bro.mxfox408 said:I laugh at all the console graphics, PC graphics dominate the consoles by a longshot due to console hardware limitations.
you think ps3 ans are oblivious to what comes out on other consoles? don't be stupid, ps3 fans have been wanting this for awhile because its one of the best series of all time and they can't play it saying that they've never heard of it is like saying anyone who doesn't have a playstation has never heard of gran turismo or god of warXorph said:You know what, Bioware? and no George Lucas to fuck it up with a prequel trilogy!Daystar Clarion said:I can't get over how fucking good this series is. Mass Effect 3 will be the trilogy of our generation. Our Star Wars.
I highly doubt that chap because i fell for many of ploys of gaming ports on the PS3 such as Bayonetta on the PS3 is horrible to play on the PS3 even with the patch it doesn't play up to the nice quality the 360 does and TF War for Cybertron on the PS3 had terrible loading times and really bad multi player until i once again got the 360 version and then everything turned alright.joebear15 said:you do realise the ps3 hardware is better then the 360 and thus can support beter graphics right???( that is not a fan boy statment that is a fact)MelasZepheos said:Nice one Bioware.
Now how about you stop pissing off your 360 fanboys, release a patch that makes our version of the game that we paid full fucking retail price for look better, fix some of the (many, many) glitches, generally make it into the better game you outright fucking admitted was being made for PS3.
That's what pisses me off. Bioware actually came out and admitted that the PS3 version would be better, and fix things that still haven't been fixed on the 360 version. If it weren't for the legions of fans who bought 1 and 2 you wouldn't even be able to release this version for the PS3, so how about throwing us a fucking bone instead of grubbing after more money like the corporate whores we were all trying to pretend you weren't for a moment.
Fuck all videogame developers, because they all suck.

Yes, but what about the glitches? Bioware have expressly stated that they are going to be fixing the little glitches whcih sometimes occur in the 360 version. So what, they couldn't release a patch, or a download, or something which makes the game actually run for the 360, but they are going to spend their time making it again in its entirety on a different engine? I don't care about graphics, but I do care about a game that occasionally glitches when I play it.joebear15 said:you do realise the ps3 hardware is better then the 360 and thus can support beter graphics right???( that is not a fan boy statment that is a fact)MelasZepheos said:Nice one Bioware.

But I have waited, and I haven't got a better product, instead the game developer I was so faithful to have announced that they are going to make the better product, but if I want to enjoy it then i have to shell out hundreds for a new system on which to enjoy it. I'm fine with GotY editions, if I like a game enough I might buy the GotY edition when it comes out, if it fixes glitches and bugs, but Bioware haven't fixed glitches and bugs, they've announced that they're going to for a whole different console.FinalHeart95 said:You wait, you get a better product. Think of all of the GOTY editions that come out for games. You could make an argument for those. Also, how the price drops dramatically for consoles if you wait long enough. I got my PS3 for $300, while people who bought it at launch got it for $600. At the same time, I got it like 3 years after it came out. I guess you could say you're paying for convenience of having it earlier than everyone else.
Oh, and it's worth noting that I got the 360 version as well. So I'm not just talking as someone who is benefited by this.
