Since i'm white enough to own all 3 consoles, it doesn't really matter to me if Mass Effect will go on the PS3. Either way i have to buy Mass Effect 2 anyways, so i might as well get some use out of my PS3.

sure the Xbox version is cheep NOW, but what about people who, like me, pre-ordered it, and everything, and can't even get all the DLC because i can't afford to buy any MS points. as of right now all my money is going to a car,insurance,college,and senior class dues, i can't experience any of it now, and i really wanted to. so sure Xbox is cheaper now, but for the majority of the fans who got it brand new at full price, we are getting screwed here.danpascooch said:
Considering ME3 is the first one that's being designed from the ground up to have a PS3 version, it's probably less work to do it that way. Either they could port the ME2 engine to the PS3 while also working on the new engine...or they could just dump the content from ME2 into the new engine and not have to do it twice. Yay! As a PS3 owner with a PC that is really down to web browsing and word processing only, this is good news. I don't really care if it's *better* than the Xbox version or whatever, only that it's *good* in its own right.

'Mass Effect 3 absolutely will have full alien nudity and penetrative sex, including all varieties of gay and bi action,throughout the entire game, and we've replaced the cover based combat system with a motion controlled masturbation mini game'
Give the mass media about a day then release another statement saying:
'Just kidding, and if you knew anything about video games, or if your researchers did any research, you'd have known that. Grats on looking even more stupid than usual'

That may be true, but in this instance the whole fact that Mass Effect was arguably the best Xbox exclusive out there and that ps3 owners were so such "waiting" as "not expecting it at all" saw, and got so much fanboy criticism and hate both in RL, and the internet over it, and now all i get is "W00T we get the better version suck on the xbox noob" or something to the effect of "haha xbox lost it's best exclusive and we still got our bests, Rip Xbox" and such. it annoys me because they were never expecting to get it, they were not waiting they had no choice about it, and they're lucky to get it.cjneon said:

I am a 360 user, but even through a fog of PS3 hate I can still see we certainly didn't get "screwed" by this arrangement. It looks bad now, but imagine, and I mean seriously think about it. Having to wait to NOW to play ME2

This really grinds my gears, and don't jump the gun and call me an Xbox fanboy. I'm mad that they get all the DLC and the improved graphics and bug fixes! They call them the "fans that waited" but that makes no sense! They haven't played it before (unless they also have an Xbox or PC) so therefore they aren't "fans" to begin with! Secondly, and the part that makes most sense, they get the DLC for free! I spent at least $100 on Mass Effect 2 between the game and then like $30-$40 worth of DLC, and these bastards that never played the series before get that shit for the price of a new game? The animated comic to fill in the top story points was a cool idea. Don't have a ps3 but it sounds cool anyway. No disc switching is handy but it's pretty damn minimal on the 360 anyway. The DLC Bundle is pretty nice, and smart, players balk at seeing 6 pieces of DLC when they first boot the game. But to answer the all important question...
