I won't lie by saying I was really looking forward to this game. I'm still disappointed, though.

That's probably the wierdest piece of marketing I've seen in a long time. Don't let 360 players in Europe play Ghostbusters? That makes no sense. Sony must have given Atari a big incentive for this. Surely they'd sell more units if they sold it on both platforms.

Well, like I said, this game wasn't my most anticipated title of this year. I'm more offended that it's just us European 360 players that are getting the shaft.

I don't think it was a dick move by Sony. It just kind of happened, I think. Atari needed money, and Sony saved the day.

Don't get me wrong, it sucks for those 360 owners in Europe who have been waiting for the game since it was announced, but it's supposedly only a timed exclusive.

It was a smart move on Sony's part where both they and Atari gained something. (Note: I usually think Sony is full of scumbags, but in this case they didn't really do anything wrong.)

OH WELL, WE HAVE GEARS OF WAR MOTHERFUCKERS.

Is what im close to saying. But im not going to, because ghostbusters is apparently Gears of War with catching ghosts included, or another XBox exclusive. Those crying about it can go play the other game and pretend you're catching ghosts.

Its a good day to be American

on a side note if people do want this game and are from Europe why not just order it online from an American site and stop complaining. I'll admit its a dick move on Sony after all that crap they brought up about console exclusive dlc.

i am looking forward to the game it seems good from the videos I've seen

I find it amusingly interesting that the game suddenly appears to be "horrible" and "stupid" since it became a timed exclusive.

Becuase the US 360 works on the inferior NTSC format, whilst Europe doesn't, so US games won't work. The UK uses PAL, for example. The PS3 is supposed to have no region locking but I don't own one, so I'll have to bow to others knowledge.

*Sigh* Stop fucking whining 360 owners, so you miss out on Ghostbusters, but Ps3 owners miss out on Fallout, Tomb raider and GTA DLC's. Can't we all just get along? Does it always have to be a huge dick waving contest over who's got what game or DLC?
but huge dick waving contests are fun!

I'm not debating exclusives. I'm debating the gigantic dick move that Sony have pulled. But you know what? I'm gonna be pissed off all I like. Nobody likes having a game they want pulled out from under them. If this was reversed and Microsoft was in Sony's position, PS3 owners would be pissed off and they have a right to be. Same with 360 exclusive DLC. Neither party are saints so let's just drop the arguing.
First, see my edit. MS did the same thing with Velvet Assassin.
A) Velvet Assassin isn't exactly an great game now, is it?
B) Velvet Assassin wasn't ported to all the platforms in America, AND THEN not in Europe, was it? So, Sony are actually shafting us lot in Europe.
A) We don't even know if this Ghostbusters game will be any good at all.
B) Sony may be shafting alot of people in Europe, but they're also opening up some opportunities for themselves also. It's called business and it annoys me that now I see people wanting to bludgeon Sony for a business move (abliet a dick one) yet mouth of to Sony that "it's business!" when they complain to Microsoft.

Now, I don't live in the UK and I couldn't give two damns about this game. I'm not interested in it and I don't understand why people want it so badly in the first place.

I understand how some people would be annoyed, maybe furious at Sony, for doing this. Hopefully they'll get over it. It's a dick business move, I agree, but business is business.

However, what annoys me the most is that previously in the article where Sony were mouthing off to Microsoft about how they buy off exclusive DLC, everyone bitched to them "It's business Sony! Why don't you get some balls and do some good business yourself!"

Yet right now, people absolutely hate Sony for doing business, understandably so, I suppose, but now people are bitching that "Sony have just become cunts" and "I think it's time to raid the Sony building!" and crap like that. Pure hypocrisy.

I understand, some people are furious, fine, whatever, but it's absolutely hypocritical to say that what Microsoft does is "business" yet when Sony does it they're "dicks". Yes, Sony are being hypocrites with this from the recent article, but let Sony be the hypocrites not you guys.

1) It's Ghostbusters, how do you think it will suck?

And you know, a lot of people here are biased in their posts, and the majority of people who post on those types of things like exclusivity are for Microsoft. We have a lot less people on Sony's side than MS, you and ID being the most well known for Sony (Don't yell at me for comparing you to him). Me? I just want all gamers to be happy. We're in the stage of consoles where it doesn't matter if you own a PS3 or 360, you get 85% of the great games anyway. And so when things like this come along, I say to complainers "So you have to wait a few months, go play some other game".
Ha! I'm going to murder you before you murder me for comparing me to Indigo!

I have yet to actually see, play, or really pay attention to any Ghostbusters merchandise. Probably because I'm too young to care. So please tell me, how much do you think it would suck?

And while, yes, there are more MS biased than Sony biased here, that doesn't mean that the hypocrisy is warranted. Sure, Sony are dicks for doing it, but it's so god damn hypocritical to start yelling "I'm not going to buy a PS3, so give Ghostbusters back!" (plus that makes no real sense whatsoever >_> )

"Who do you call?"

"Sony!"

How good can a Ghostbusters game be anyway?
If its anything like the movie, pretty damn good.
Yeah, but a great film doesn't necessarily make a great game.

We've seen lots of bad game adaptations of films over the years.
