Funny, I thought that trying to stop Governments from wrongfully imprisoning their subjects was wrong. Obviously so did he.

He said he wanted to blow up an airport. Whether thats a joke or not isnt something you just brush right over, especially in today's day and age.

Besides, I was also thinking more towards the comments he made about the Atomic Bomb use against Japan that ruffled some feathers.

lol, if I were lookin for contracts as a hitman the LAST place I'd be lookin is on facebook... and $500? thats it? Come on, I don't know of any respectable hitman in their right mind that'd do a job for less than a grand... especially in this economy, gotta save every penny, and with a sharp decrease in demand... yeah... it's hard livin off hits.

What possible defense could e of used? Insanity is out of the question since trying to get a hitman implies premeditation (thus killing any chance for insanity plea), and it is hard to claim he didn't do it because the writing is quite literally on the wall.

The way you're talking is as though it is an impossible feeling to hold. Look around you i n this thread, people are assuming he raped her - forgetting that it is alleged - people ARE calling for execution.

Well, he admitted it, allegedly posted for a hitman on Facebook, and pleaded guilty to both counts, and got arrested for asking for a hitman... sometimes, there's enough evidence right there for people to make a small logical step.

He couldn't since hiring a hitman implies premeditation (I.E. he planned it out), which is a big blow to any insanity case. Insanity isn't as used as common as Hollywood makes you think it does, it is only ever attempted in 1% of all cases and only has a 25% success rate when attempted. Also, if you some how try and win this "get out scot free" way of prison, you don't face a set sentence, the asylum can hold onto you for as long as they please.

When said comment could have been seen by around 20 people without looking specifically for it, was used as part of a conversation between two people in friendly joking terms, and resulted in the Police storming his house, stealing his equipment - that they still haven't returned or apologised for, and the resultant court case - despite hundreds of other similar comments made on Twitter, Blogs and Bookface daily; I'm calling a slight over-reaction.

I made an account only so i could try that game "Echo Bazaar".
It was decent, but after it lost its luster i havent been on facebook again.
