Now just watch this game fail because your average teabagging FPS player can't tell the awesomeness of TS from your averaging boring brown and grey cover-based shooter.

more timesplitters!?! YES! a Million YES!

...wait... DNF, TimeSplitters"4", a new Kid Icarus. somethings not right here...
Isn't...

isn't next year 2012? *Le gasp*

OT: Let this happen, but not as a sick twist of faith. Let there be another Timesplitters, let it be chaotic fun, TONS OF UNLOCKABLES, arcade and challenges, mapmakers, and the wide pallet of characters styles...
And bring back Anaconda as a hidden minigame! (not a necessity though, just a Timesplitters in the state of the art will be a great thing)

*Takes a deep breath* Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Whew, awesome. I really really hope this gets made especially when I think of all the time I dumped into the last one. There was something about 1 shot kill reflector pistols in crowded hallways and rooms that always caused entertainment for me. I, along with everyone else it seems, just hope they don't turn it into CoD or something similar. I want my crazy characters and a plot that makes jokes at every chance humanly possible and I will be in heaven.

On a side note i feel like I committed a gaming sin, I just remembered I sold my copy of future perfect to a friend and can't dig it out right now D:

I played Future Perfect a few years ago and I absolutely loved it. It was hilarious and... well, fun. I'm all about dramatic and thoughtful pieces (MGS, Bioshock), and if I had the time I could get into something lengthy and involving (Bethesda, Bioware), but this tickles my fancy in a completely different way. It tickles it with a meat hook on the arm of a skinned moose man.

Timesplitters Splitscreen was without a doubt the best id ever played. Throw in a good online multiplayer and you have the recipe for pure awesome.

The secret ingredient is Monkeys!

Hearing this news reminded me on my 2-week quest to completely Gold medal Timesplitters 2 and future perfect. It was so damn fun!

On an slightly related note- when I came on the Escapist, I was listening to Futurism, by Muse. Fate?

OMG I totally forgot about this game but it was so much fun! You could lay down proximity mines and then watch as a wall of ninja monkeys ran into them and exploded. After which you shot syringes filled with a chemical at a midget clown, causing him to explode! My god this game was good! And it was so funny too at times, in that really cheesy 'I know that i'm about to do an awful pun' sort of way. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY :D

I have never had the chance to play Timesplitters[footnote]Sad, sad panda face[/footnote], but would LOVE to see this come to fruition! I just hope that they've learned from the debacle that was Hazo. Despite owning the game[footnote]Thank goodness for online prices cheaper than a rental would cost[/footnote], I cannot bring myself to play it out of (1) sheer disappointment and (2) the HORRENDOUS lines spouted off by your twats in arms.

By no means should that screw up any chance for a new Timesplitters. No way!

Oh yes oh yes oh yes, so much of my childhood was spent playing those games. I don't know a single person who played them and doesn't still love them. They just needed more publicity.
