I'm sure their development team will have handled this at least as maturely as everything else about this game has been handled.

But you'd think they would want people to remember their game for it's epic storyline or amazing gameplay ....

But there's no way you could write an epic story that people would remember about a topic like this. It's just impossible

No. Fucking. Way. I'm against banning games in general, but I would certainly understand banning this. Now you mean to tell me that, by the Aussie rating board standards, drugs in games having real names and positive effects (Fallout 3) is bad, but full nudity and undead babies are A-OK? Wow, just wow.

There's something about this game that I find weird. No it isn't the 'floppy demon wang' as Mr. Funk so delicately put it, or all of the other strange stuff like undead babies. Don't get the wrong idea about what I'm going to say next, it looks promising and all, but for some reason I've got a niggling thought in the back of my head thinking that Dante's Inferno is trying too hard.

Now I'm expecting a lot of negative feedback from that last statement, but I'm sticking with that thought in my head. Don't ask me why I think that, and I won't try to justify it if you do ask me, which I'm sure some of you will.

Oh, they definitely are trying too hard. The way I see it, if a game wants to tell a story and needs to be mature to do so, that's fine, but maturity (and I use that term loosely, this is more maturity as a 13 year old sees it) for its own sake is just bad. And that's ignoring the back-alley source material rape.

I would seriously laugh if this game, of all games, slipped under the Australian government's radar.

I'm already making plans to get it ordered into Australia if/when it gets smashed by the banhammer.
Been waiting for this title for to long now.
If Aliens v Predator can win an appeal and be allowed into the country then a game depicting the excesses of Hell should,when viewed in context,be allowed through also.
I mean it's meant to be a Middle ages depiction of Hell,its supposed to be bad.

If demon dick is just there for the shock value, then yeah, I do have a slight problem with it. Putting dicks in a game just for shock value just shows how immature game developers can be, going "A Hyuk hyuk, PENUS!" and playing the "Penis!" game in their office all day. If put in context, though, then it could be a purely artistic choice in reference to the "Lust" circle of hell.

And yes, I wanted to use the word "Penis" as much as I could

this is the second "rated blank for blank" this weak, but I think it deserves the rating. Am I the only one that thinks this game is like manhunt in a way? just trying to be as violent and gory as possible? but I digress.

i'm going to say it's a bit of both really. they are demons and wouldn't really care if they were clothed, being naked would be better for them i'd think. it's also there for the shock cause well they're demons and they like the shock people.

i'm going to say it's more or less similar to the reasoning behind why Dr Manhattan was naked

People casually talk about "babies flying out of boobs". All I'm thinking is... This is some kind of insane high-octane nightmare fuel [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HighOctaneNightmareFuel]. Will any of us look at a pair of boobs the same way again?

Just imagine. Girlfriend's losing her clothes, all's going well, suddenly you catch sight of her breasts... and then you're cowering on the other side of the room in the foetal position, rocking back and forth muttering about the babies. Then she leaves you for some musclebound meathead who's too stupid to be mildly disturbed by said babies flying from where they should not be flying.

Though that will not compare to schlong-demon beating us to death with that club he calls a dick. If that is indeed what he uses it for. Or... worse, if it remains flaccid... it's like some kind of grotesque garrot wire.
