Dreth heard sounds eminating from the area around the Jotun as well as lightning, both normal and red, but something else had caught his attention. He had noticed a small flame moving across the desert, then wink out not long after Adtonitus' exit. Dreth had no doubt that it was no natural occurance. He began to search the dunes for its source, looking to see who it was.

Seems like I have a watcher. Perhaps its the fire colossus, though I have seen little of him.

As Bein listened to Tempest's threats, a stream of glowing red energy flowed from the eagles chest and into Bein who grew a small amount larger. "You make me stronger one of the wind," Came the voice.

Bein began to drift across the sand towards Tempest, his arms by his sides, his face 'Staring' at the floating colossus.

The Earthfather did not wait to exchange words; one huge fist swung round and smote the 200ft liquid being, shattering it's form. Before it could reform, the Jotun shrugged it's mighty shoulders, and from higher on it's body a tide of earth, sand and mud surged down upon the tainted lake, burying it away and drying up it's waters.

Around the other colossi, the tide slowed and turned aside, but the Mountain King was taking no chances, and the material kept coming. They'd have to move soon or be buried alive.

At the same time, the entire body of the Land shook as it bellowed a psychic call across the world

Amphitrite! Answer my call!

Adtonitus slowly stood up, having caught his breath, and lept off Old Hill Bones to avoid the landslide from enveloping him. He melded with the storm, trying to control the red lightning. When he realized how Tempest's rage had only made Bein stronger, Adtonitus cleared his head off all emotions before melding along the energy, to weaken Bein if possible.

There was noise coming from the earthen being. The sounds of conflict.

Funny...and I was expecting problems to arise here first...

Almost as soon as this thought passed the foxes mind, movement caught his eye. The hunched beast was on the move, scanning the desert.

Well now...seems as though someone knows I'm here. Too bad it wasn't really the someone I wanted.

V shrugged. It was time to test the waters. He called out to the colossus.

"Good evening decaying one. I don't think we've ever been formally introduced."

The earth over where bein had been glowed, red droplets filtering up from the soil. They formed a ball the size of a small boulder, the ball shimmered then flew at Adtonitus "You shALL BE MY RAGE!!!" boomed the voice. The stream smashed into him, and seemed to pass straight through his chest but nothing passed out of his back, the stream was absorbed into his form.

Executor simply hovered above the others, watching them. Taking note of their strengths and weaknesses. They would either serve him in his cause or die.

Adtonitus grimaced as the water flew through his chest. Still, it was nothing compared to how his heart seemed torn when he was attacked by his own lightning. Adtonitus pulled out of the lightning and merged with his own, pure, white lightning. He reformed, floating within the sky. The bloodwater stood in front of him. "Unfortunately for you, you chose the wrong medium as your avatar. Amphitrite's elemental antithesis is myself, and I am able to negate her powers at any time." Adtonitus held up two fingers. "That was your first mistake. Your second mistake was attacking the element with no emotion. Fire is hot-headed, wind is high-tempered, earth is anger, darkness is revenge and death, while Lightning has no temper at all. It strikes down all impassively. Goodbye, Bein." Adtonitus wielded his sword, and disappeared from view as the blade pierced Bein, Adtonitus traveling across its lines to cut the avatar of anger even more. He appeared behind Bein, then snapped his fingers, calling down a pillar of lightning to vaporise the colossus.

Dreth suddenly found himself looking down upon a fox much larger than it had any business being. Immediately Dreth realized that this must be the colossus who had been watching. It showed no hostility towards him though, showing only a want to talk.

The water colossus whirled in confusion and pain. A few minutes after she was forced from the lake, she felt it pulling at her. The lightning... the blood red lightning was wresting her control. She could hear the Earthfather calling her, and mustered her strength to force her form out of the sea. Cutting off her connection to her realm, she stood some 30 feet on land. It was all she could safely do before leaving. It was not safe in the ocean at the moment for her. She looked at the Earthfather and began to float in his direction, no longer leaving any substance in her steps across the desert, conserving what little untainted water she could.

The red clouds shook as the avatar was destroyed, an un-earthly scream eminated from the sky.
The clouds parted slightly, forming a gap where light shone through, a faded image of Bein was projected upon the earth, it then uttered the words

" I am but one of the fragments, we are what is left of the core, when we split, the elements were too, but a ghost, a memory of him was left, we are his mind, and we are angry."
then dissapeared as the clouds thickened and covered the gap.

A trace of a smile could be seen on V's face. Although it took a bit to understand Dreth's...accent, it seemed like he would be able to hold a conversation with the colossus.

"I think that you're correct. Something is seriously amiss."

V beckoned towards the distant breaking clouds.

"That certainly isn't a sign of good things to come. Nor is the fact that we and the rest of our siblings are awake."

The fox sighed, a disheartened expression crossing his face.

"I have a distinct fear that some of the less...understanding colossi may target beings like ourselves. Feel that we are a threat to their 'natural order'. If they could only understand how essential beings of our kind really are to that order."

He sat for a moment in silence as though he were deep in thought. Suddenly a spark appeared in the fox's eyes.

"How rude of me. I am V, the colossus of fire."

As Legion felt himself drawing closer to the other elements when he heard Bein death cry, " I am but one of the fragments, we are what is left of the core, when we split, the elements were too, but a ghost, a memory of him was left, we are his mind, and we are angry.".

"Well," he murmured to himself, "I wonder who that was."

He saw the other elements grouped together some ways off. "Hello!" he called out to them. They were still several kilometers away but he was sure his voice would travel that far. And during that walk to them he could try and figure out which ones were friendly and which ones would mean him harm.

"Hello!"

Amphitrite turned to see an amorphous form, metallic in color. She was unsure whether to reply: she could be easily defeated at the moment, and it would be dangerous to call undue attention to herself. She instead turned and took a long path around the colossus, hoping that it had not noticed her.

Yeah it may be hard to understand Dreth without some effort, but I can tell you its rather annoying to type it all out. I've taken to just typing what I want to post then adding in the extra letters, but it's still a pain.
Dreth nodded his head in acknowledgement, then continued on.

"Yyesss, sssoomme aarre perrhhaapsss leessss uunndeerrsstaanndinng. Tthheeir ellemmeenntss aarre quuiite diiffffereennt tthheenn oouurrsss. Essspeecciaalllyy earrtthh, sssoo uunnchhaannginng aannd sstaatiic. Deecaayy iisss sssoo diifffferreennt, iit dooeesss nnoot exxiisst, iit hhaappeennsss."

"Aannd tthheenn tthheerre iisss Exxecuutoorr..."

Dreth looked back to the large floating colossus, now seeming less huge than before now that the Earthfather was up.

"Hhee iisss quuiite arrrroogaannt aannd ssseellfff-sssuurre. Anndd hhiisss mmootiivvesss aarre-"

Dreth stopped and turned as he heard a shout from off in a new direction. It seemed that from a while off a new large being, most likely another colossus, was approaching the general area.

And yet another arrives...

"So many colossi, all called to the same spot. Somehow, I have my doubts that it has anything to do with a coincidence. Perhaps this is how it is meant to be. The battlefield."

V's ear twitched at the sound. It was a voice. Familiar. He spoke anyway, not yet turning or acknowledging what he had heard.

"I would be careful dealing with the dark one. It's hard to understand the motives of the unknowable. The only predictable thing about his type is their unpredictability."

The beast finally looked over in the direction of the shout. His thoughts were confirmed.

"Dreth, have you ever met Legion? He's the colossus of metal. An old friend of mine."

The ice colossus appeared. It seemed they were all being drawn to this area... Amphitrite shivered in the cold wind. It was almost inevitable that fighting break out here and now, with all the colossi taking sides. The red substance was not being particularly helpful either, agitating the colossi and driving them to blows. If there was one colossi the water colossus did not wish to face right now, it was Glacia. They had never gotten along well, despite being so closely related. Perhaps she would be needing her new allies sooner than she thought...

A bright chuckle was emitted from the beast's throat. He seemed amused.

"Oh yes, he may seem a bit...stoic at first, but once you can get past that, he is a powerful ally. Humans favored our elements for the sake of change. The sake of happening."

The smile faded from V's face.

"It is unfortunate that they destroyed themselves in such an undignified manner. I had grown quite fond of them. But the past is in the past. We have to be concerned with our present."

The fox turned towards Dreth, an intensity in his eyes that almost didn't seem possible.

"Would you be able to speak with Legion for me? He may understand more about this than I do. Tell him that I sent you. The misunderstood all need to be sure to be on the same page."

The fox stood up and stretched, smiling brightly again. All the former intensity was gone, almost as though it had never been there.

"I have some pressing business I need to attend to. Perhaps more allies for this cause. Can I trust you?"
