I'm smart. I have my chosen subjects that I know better than most then the others I know enough of everything else to be able to hold a conversation about it.

I'm not too intelligent, but I think I'm smart enough to get around in life. That's all I ask for, really.

my aunt and uncle say I'm smart but wonder where it comes from because my parents aren't really super smart.
but I'm smarter than most of my age group, it's just that I don't really use it that much.

From my experience, intelligence works on different levels. You can have person that can calculate large equations in just his head, but if you ask him to do the laundry he'll fuck up and mix the colors with whites then scratch his head and wonder why all his sucks came out pink.

Until you can prove your intelligence by exceeding in something in life, I'd say there's a lot of intelligent morons out there that still need to wise up on certain things before they start padding themselves on the back just because they figured out the plot to Inception....0o

I consider myself an intelligent person. For my age, at least.

Why yes I do, old chap.

Anyway I think I am pretty clever, but I'm not the cleverest and often do some pretty stupid things.

Upper 90%
estimated I.Q. of 173

that being said i'm actually pretty lazy and don't really use much of my potential...in other words i know i'm smart but so what?
An IQ of 173 puts you in the top 99.9999431733% of everyone in the world, meaning that you are among (approximately) the smartest 3800 people on the planet. Not to be rude, but I would recommend double-checking the validity of the test you have taken.

I am definitely above average intellectually. If you want to go with definitive rubrics, my IQ according to a number of different online tests is somewhere in the 125-140 range. If you want to go for the more qualitative reason, in my experience I am able to consume, process and manipulate large volumes of information and concepts much better than my peers. My mind just works... faster, for lack of a better term, than most others I've met. To be honest, my depth of knowledge in any one subject, with a handful of exceptions, is usually fairly lacking, but I have the ability to learn whatever subject, to whatever level I need, in very little time.

I am able to SOUND intelligent on occasion, but would not classify myself as intelligent. I'm sharp, maybe, but not smart.

I?m not stupid but there are a few areas where I?m below average, most of the things I?m probably pretty average, although I do have a few skills I?m better at than most.

Looking at my peers, though, I would hope that I am smarter than most of them. It will be a painful realization the day that I see that I am just the same as everyone else.

Edit: Academically, I am smart, but so are a bunch of other people. So much so in fact, that saying I'm academically smart hardly means anything. In terms of actual considering, and relating, and empathizing, though, I like to think I am above average. Especially the empathizing part.

That said, this. I get good levels and grades for my work, but that doesn't mean a great deal in the real world. If Common Sense was a stat I'd have been too thick to put any points in it.

We all know that 'ol saying. The Escapist is the only place in the entire interwebz to have an intelligent conversation.
I've never actually heard that quote. But then, I suppose that I come to The Escapist for the articles and videos, not the forums. Still, it seems awfully pretentious.

I am intelligent. I am fairly knowledgeable. I am also an idiot sometimes. At other times I am a moron. Puzzle that out.

I consider myself extremely intelligent, much more-so than the average teenager.

Alhough that may stem from the fact that throughout my ENTIRE school career, which was unfortunately cut short due to some unforeseen medical issues, all my teachers said, and I quote "you're an extremely intelligent boy and I know you can do better if you apply yourself"...

My test scores were the highest in my classes but my assignments were never handed in, go figure.

I must also admit, however, that I do have my fair share of 'there is always something or someone smarter than yourself moments'

I'm both overwhelmingly bright and a bit... dim. Absent-minded, rather. A high INT stat but low WIS, I guess.
Kinda the same for me but with some laziness sprinkled on top. And with some I mean allot...
Take your lazy sprinkles, and turn into the crust, filling and just about everything else in this metaphorical food.

I'm pretty much that.

Squandering intelligence, woo! :D

I consider myself intelligent, but my level of intelligence has slipped over the years, and people's expectations of me are too high now.

I may be clever, but can't figure out people.

HOLY CRAP IT'S THE INVINCIBLE SINGLE! That's probably my faovrite cover for asingle they've done. Definitely my favorite out of those space-y covers.

Anyways, yeah, I have no common sense either. That's why my friend says I suck at Legend of Zelda, cause I don't think with commone sense. Funny enough, I am very logical. That doesn't make *common* sense. *Ba Dum Tsh*
