So what?
It is, after all, just boobs.

And imaginary boobs at that.

Seriously.
This harms nobody.
This is more of criticism as something they can change to make the game appear better to others than harm. You know, a game having a flaw doesn't do harm, it just be better without it.

Good on them!

It's all well and good to have an opinion. but the level of keening over the past few months about this garbage has been ridiculous. If they don't like the game, don't buy it. If enough people agree, then Team Ninja will go broke and they'll have their victory. But +1 to TN for having the cogliones to say "fuck off".

Now, guys, just give us an apology for Metroid: Other M and I'll take you off of my Game Dev Effigy shrine. ;)

I'm not a fan of fighting games, never have been. Still, might pick up a copy of this just to show support.

(Speaking of which, the DoA girls could use some support, guys... I don't think they're getting those black eyes from the fighting matches).

What does unwilling sexual contact on top of the castle walls have to do with anything?

Way to miss the point. Whether or not it's a "flaw" is entirely subjective. Guess what: 6000 years of porn means that *gasp* apparently many people like looking at sexy things (for whatever value of 'sexy' floats their boat).

I don't get it. Putting attractive women in to a video game sparks a huge culture war? Why? Who cares? This harms NOBODY.

Team Ninja, how's that depiction of women helping current declining Japanese birthrates?
Same sex train carriages to stop the rampart rape and sexual assault is a sure sign of a healthy gender culture lol.

Oh and lolicon.
There is a concern about Japan's future about a new shift in culture where sex is looked down upon, most likely to real people not living up to their ideal anime love.

i love fighting games, but i would be lying if is say that both genders are treated equally in the games from a visual perspective. the male characters always have more different body types(fat, slim, big, small, etc.) then the female counterpart who have in fact just one: body of a model. the only difference is in height and cup size. i wait for the day they show their 'creativity' and make a fat, ugly, old, etc. female character. and this does not only happen in japan, it also happens at western studios, looking at you Riot.

and before someone goes mad at me, and ask if i don't like 'sexy' females. sure, but i also love diversity and female character don't have those, even in different genre's it is rare.

and i find it hard to take any studio serious which present jiggle physics as a huge feature of their games.

You know what Japan?

We men of the world solute you. You've decided to tell the unpleas-able voice to go fuck itself, and keep doing what you've been doing, the way you want to do it. That takes gut to do in a world where most major developers would shit themselves in fear if they heard a sneeze that sounded like "sexism" or "misogyny".

Jiggle Physics/Gainaxing is completely "realistic". I mean just look at this image to see how to completely follows how "real" breasts would move. This obviously how physics works, right?

We can't help if other cultures in other countries around the globe think that it's a bad representation. Spot on, Yhatzee! Couldn't have said it better myself.
I'm sure all the large breasted woman in the world appreciate your comment.

Personally, I don't see issues with the way DoA portrays its characters. It is a little silly (again imo) to get worked up about how these characters are portrayed, because frankly all of the characters are all designed this way, both male and female. Unrealistic body types have been a staple of 90% of the games out there.

There's no question looking at Japanese pop culture across the board that women are often portrayed as hyper-sexualised and highly attractive but that's true in many aspects of Western culture as well. It's not particularly Japanese (though I do think the argument could be made that the 'idol' culture is specifically Japanese). There's nothing wrong with being attractive or indeed portraying your female character as attractive, but when that's her only defining feature you haven't created a very compelling or sophisticated character, she's merely eye candy. There are plenty of multi-layered very well written female characters in plenty of anime and manga (I don't personally know much about the video game side) so it's clear the Japanese are not just interested in women with big breasts. And I suppose that's really all we can expect from a game like DOA, but don't try and use your entire culture as a defence for said shallowness and drag it down with you, just admit its part of your games selling point to a certain target demographic which is early and late teenage boys and be done with it.

What the actual fuck.
Never mind her tits are like... lemon shaped..

Oh, yeah, I have to stop my tits having arguments like that all the time. They're always pushing each other.

Bwahaa... looks like she's got two angry cats in her shirt.

Remember, this is coming from Team "Every Man Loves Tits" Ninja.

Seriously, they said that. While giggling like schoolgirls.

OT: OK, guys. You keep making them look "attractive", and I'll keep avoiding your games like they're made of the bubonic plague. Deal? Deal.

Come on guys. You just want something in there so that if your mostly teen male audience wants to masturbate, they don't have to leave the game. Jesus, you may as well put a one-hand play mode in there and own that shit properly.
