I'll tell you one thing, I think it has a decent chance to one day amuse all of us who stopped waiting a long time ago. Might even be a great game, though no game is worth waiting over one-tenth of a long lifetime for. Or working on for one-tenth of a long lifetime.

Still, there is probably a chance it'll make us forget about all the so-so titles and engage us, if only for a couple of months. Better than nothing, eh? Even if I'm not holding my breath... =__=

Windows 7 is on the way out. We need to scrap everything we've done for DNF and start again, again... Steve, you get to work on the engine, Rob, you help steve. I'll work on the characters, because we need to come up with a really awesome player character. Someone strong, muscular, and with a short haircut.

Why? WHY?! Why can't OS's come out slow enough for us to complete this game!

Not to mention if they plan to release for consoles...

yeah, they know about it. i found it from a post on a fansite i visit, the person who posted it got it off of duke4.net. the 3d realms guys go there so.

thing is, that hasant been updated in over a year, SOOOOOOOOOO many things have happend that arent on it. but the worst part is just looking at it. the entire gta franchise, EVERY ww2 fps except wolf 3d, the entire halo franchise, the xbox, hell even prey and tf2 (both of which took over 10 years to develop). really sad when ya think about it.

The game has been done for years now, they're just running out of money, and figured its time to start up the hype machine again so they can sell some copies.

Simple economics. =P

Also, I think we all know that if we got our hands on the initial copy of DNF, the one that was almost done but they for some reason decided to scrap it, even today, we would make love to that game. If you watch that 2 1/2 min trailer that was posted, you can't even say it didn't look good.

I'm a firm believer that 3D Realms will make one of the most epic games to have ever graced our gaming lives.

Seriously, the Nukem series is the only one I can say that for and not sound like I'm ripping on it. I like Duke Nukem, I just hope that this game will be able to preserve all that was Duke and bring it to modern times without making it feel stupid as hell.
