Oh dear, the Duke won't be happy about this. It look like the aliens won't be the only ones who will get their throat an s*** load from him that is if he was real.
Indeed, Duke seems to live in some kind of bizzaro-land where everything is completely backwards. I bet that the Xbox Live voicechat for the multiplayer will feature people acting universally civil.Canadish said:Duke Nukem Forever has been a strange beast, from it's humble origins 12 years ago, and up until the week of it's release.
Piracy on consoles only. Oh Duke. u so crazy.
You, my friend, are the official winner of the internet... congrats! xDultratog1028 said:Apparently, Even the Duke sometimes accidently comes earlier then he expected.
Yeah, but you tell me what's easier for developers? To institute more rigorous and invasive DRM measures to protect their games. These measures usually only prolonging the inevitable. DRM measures that will only piss off honest buyers of games, or perhaps, is it easier to just develop for the console market and deal with second-hand sails project-ten-dollar style?Mr.Amakir said:Yes, PC gaming is dying because of piracy and this proves it.
That was sarcasm.
...it's just not what I expected from Duke.MetalGenocide said:90% of the comments are: "OMFG only 2 weapons? This sucks!"
You sir or madam, win the internets.ultratog1028 said:Apparently, Even the Duke sometimes accidently comes earlier then he expected.
No, it probably wasn't. Duke Nukem Forever is gold and the game is only released in a couple of days in Europe, so finished copies of games are already in stores, out the back ready to be brought in for launch day. Some dude/member of a warez group who is probably a friend of a gaming store employee probably bargained with them to get a copy of the game early -- then released it onto the scene.Senarrius said:It's sad when things like this happens.
This was no doubt an internal leak.
Well retailers in Australia at least already have their copies of Duke Nukem Forever ready for a Friday release (I've seen them ^_^) so I imagine European retailers have too. Leaked from there is my best guess.SoloStoffe said:I wonder, how did the game get leaked? A douche Gearbox employee or hackers?
Welp, that's what happens when you abuse your freedoms. Too many twelve-year-olds out there thinking they can take something that doesn't belong to them and make it all better with a rationalization they came up with in five seconds. World doesn't work that way.Lordedubs said:I have to say this is one of the only times I have ever truly been ashamed of my pirate brethren. I don't care if it was only leaked to xbox or ps3, regardless its shameful. I hope you get whats coming to you, and by that I mean the Protect IP (PIP) ACT floating around in congress. don't know what I'm talking about? Google it, while you read sit back and watch the free information era of the internet die. acts like this only fuel the already mounting resentment towards software piracy.
