OH!
NOW they build them with Wifi built in?!

NOW people don't have to buy them, then waste even more money buying an adaptor!

...

UGH!

I'd probably buy one if I had the money...

Wow that is one sleek and sexy middle finger to early adopters right there.

Sweet, right as I'm in the market for a new Xbox. Though it's best to give it some time to see how it performs for others.

I guess Microsoft was Jealous of the PS3...'s ability to collect finger prints on their console.

Possibly the WORST feature of any shiny console out there. I'll stick with my Loud as a chainsaw 360.

That really pisses me off. Wi-fi might be the only way I'll ever be able to connect my 360 to live, and they come out with one that has it built in. They'd better lower the price on the current network adapter.

If my Elite breaks, this will definitely be my replacement choice.

Friggin' lucky audience.

What the FUCK!? They couldn't have advertised it a bit?

Two months ago I finally bit the bullet and bought a 360, but my biggest halting point was the fact that it didn't come with internet access standard. Not only that, but they expect you to give out an additional $100 for the adapter (I never bought one for that reason. Dollar vote, and all that)

So now they've got one with more than twice as much memory, and installed internet access for the very same price I paid for the Elite.

Fuck, I am pissed now...I bet Microsoft didn't advertise for this very reason. Scrape up the last bit of money they can from losers like me, and save ad money in the process. I hope they'll at least lower the price of their adaptors to somewhere near a reasonable price now.

That is, unless you were lucky enough to be in the audience at the press conference, in which case Microsoft gave you one free. I am so jealous right now. It's like Microsoft is being run by Oprah Winfrey.

With a 250GB hard drive, built-in WiFi, and a sleeker, smaller design, the redesigned Xbox 360 "slim" is real ... and it's coming out, um, today. Wow.
I seriously impressed by this. Most companies can't keep secrets like this months beforehand (I'm looking at you Nintendo) yet Microsoft more or less was able to hide it down to its Launch Day. This leads me to believe every "leak" we hear about is created on purpose.

This is great, Microsoft is really doing consumers a favor here.

This isn't a $50 price drop, this is at least $200 less than it was before.

LOL! There's a reason why the PS3 went from glossy piano black to matte flat black when it switched to it's own slim model: dust and fingerprints. MS obviously wasn't paying attention.

These things are very likely to be finger-printy and dusty as heck. Not a deal-breaker, sure, but you'd think MS would have been watching the guys they watched (obviously, to me) for the color and materials cues.

Well, didn't that materialise out of the blue? I know we heard some rumblings about a slim 360 a while back, but it would have been nice to hear some concrete news more than, say, a day in advance. I just wonder when this beast will be due to appear on this side of the pond.

Maybe if, when it does appear, the stores offer a PS3 slim style exchange deal, I would consider it. Otherwise, nah....

I haven't really felt the need to buy a 360, but you best believe I'd take one for free! Jesus...

Won't buy one though.
