I believe it is a difficult thing to find somebody on the Escapist who does not fit the molds of:

Socialist/other Leftist
Fascist/other Authoritarian
Libertarian

personally, I think free will is overated and that we humans are merely foolish children, desperately searching for a light switch that doesnt exist in a dark room with many stairs.

I would be on the Socialist floating city. The mod delegation on the island would prevent too much fighting, but as factions vying for control is a part of any un-Democratic system, they would most likely allow limited battling for control of the island among the authoritarians.

Ok quick question that doesn't seem to even be answered. I fit in none of the categorizes. I like my democracy threw and threw. So where would I fit or would I even be welcome. I'm not a big fan of a socialized government.

Both Libertarianism and Socialism are democratic forms of government, but considering that your main complaint is that you don't like socialized government, that rules out the latter. You would go to the undersea Libertarian paradise.

Hell I'm happy as long as ADAM stays far far away from this utopia. Though as a thought to keep all of the parts of the country together and united there should be a rep from each part, an ambassador if you will, to help make laws that are good for all parts and each part have their own separate government. Much like the state and Federal government is set up in the US. To keep and check and balance system so one doesn't over power the other. Just an idea.

Each society will have a delegation of mods to keep everything running smoothly and in what unison can possibly be between Fascists, Socialists and Libertarians. That is sort of similar. Also, as stated in group, we have declared Jack Thompson and Michael Atkinson enemies of the state, and demanding their extradition to our nation for trial will be an early unifying goal to keep us together through founding.

The only person who should be considered absolute commander is Kuliani. While I may be elected by the Socialists in the floating city to represent them (and may be made a general in NeonBob's whale nuking army) I am no full commander.

But yes, I agree. Not sure of the location, I think anywhere will do. It will be important to maybe separate some ideologies, as was said, since our culture at the moment is pushing all sorts of beliefs on all sorts of people. I'm not the biggest fan of relatively new movements that claim they're being oppressed by older ones, only to gain speed and oppress said older movements in return. And that's been happening a lot lately.

Also, each area will be named after an iconic location from various nerdly stories. Star Wars planets, Lord of the Rings cities, Mass Effect locations, Morrowind... all that stuff. I mean, come on, who wouldn't want to live on Degobah street?

Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land were two nations created for the absolute freedom of soldiers, during Metal Gear 1 & 2. They were both taken down by Solid Snake.

Outer Haven is a 630-meter-long Arsenal class vehicle in MGS4. It's freaking awesome.

And Arsenal Gear is essentially a gigantic Metal Gear with several pretty intense weapons, as well as something resembling the internet kill-switch that they're proposing.

Thus, my proposal for our Nation is this: I build an enormous Metal Gear, and we take the internet and the world by storm.
