Agreed. I'm Brazilian and advocate (not necessarily judicially) in favor of freedom of speech for games. However, here, one of the few ways of impeding game bannings is stating they are already rated according to age (up to 18). It's not paradise, but it certainly beats censorship.Internet Kraken said:

I think we already knew that the ESRB were a bunch of morons, this just proves it further. I realize that they are a necessary evil, I just wish they exhibited common sense from time to time.

I've played and enjoyed L4D, but the logo with the mutilated hand is a bit gross, I agree.
You have to figure that gameplay is one thing, but logos can be seen by anyone so they probably shouldn't themselves contain gore.
Also, the ESRB isn't as bad as people are making it out. They're actually incredibly lax in comparison to what the government would've rolled out.

Wait, given the fact that the two-fingered salute was used BY the English AGAINST the French, why are the Brits getting all uppity about it? Shouldn't they see it as a culturally positive thing?
