Alot of people would have felt jumpy and frightened upon waking up. I had a weird torture/porn/comedy style dream. I can't even really begin to describe it..the only word that comes to mind is "feverish".

Well so that trip to the Borneo waste jungles riding through murky trash-ridden lake on an old canoe with two tigers rowing and old 50's propaganda posters dirtied on the ground as I approached and fell down the Angel's Waterfall only to ram into a Mass Effect style looking locked door having arrived in what seems like right in the middle of the 'Kasumi's Lost Memories' DLC for ME2 with her giving me a tap on the shoulder and a questioning look...

Weird how things you see in reality that don't seem important whether it be signs, music, or people get reflected in symbolic ways during dreams.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, you* actually have a few dozen dreams during the course of a single night. It's just the only one you tend to remember is the one you were having in the last few minutes before you wake up.

*and by "you" I mean people in general.

We drift inbetween 'light' and 'deep' sleep. If you wake up naturally you're likely not to remember your dreams, if you're awoken by something while in 'deep' sleep then you're more likely to remember them.

Didn't actually dream, but if you counted last week then everyone would dream being able to see galaxies from earth, super nova's and space randomly breaking through the earth's atmosphere and making peoples heads exploding in slow motion and this guy:
