I'll rally the troops on their forums, should be fun :D

Although have you seen the number of BioWare fanboys on this site? Should be very, very interesting. They were toppled by Valve last year, if I remember correctly.
March Mayhem generally gets some attention on the Bethesda forums and on Bethesda's Blog. As for Bioware, it's popularity is well earned and with both Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 in developement there will be plenty of buzz around them as well. :)
My friend, a single Mass Effect is worth a hundred Skyrims XD
fix'd for ya

Not really, in fact last year I voted for VALVE in the finals, I just find Bioware to be a better developer than Bethesda(and that said, I have Fallout 3 on my PS3)

Mine came down to blizzard vs bioware and obsidian vs valve, with bioware taking it all and obsidian one second place. Would probably have looked different if bethesda wasn't going against bioware so early.

obsidian vs bioware is an insanely hard pick though

Funny how quickly people forget that Valve put an advert for last years MM in the Steam launcher bringing in "2-post members who were never heard from again after voting for Valve".
True! But this was after Valve supporters ran helter skelter to all corners of the internet for support (I still remember the mind-rape that occurred when someone suggested we invite everyone's favorite "personal army"). Someone inevitably mentioned it in the Steam forums, and lobbied hard enough to get someone at Valve to mention it (once) in the Steam launcher.

Do note that this image wasn't even half of it. I'll break out my evidence of "Zynga are spamming dicks" now.

And yet they'll get through to at least round four.

I'm really conflicted with some of these.

Am I picking for which one I want to win? Or which one I think will win?
From my understanding of the rules, you get points for guessing who will win the match-up correctly, but for some of these matchups (Treyarch vs. Popcap) I am very sure Treyarch will win, but I want popcap to win, simply because their games are not dripping in fail juice.

Considering my luck with contests is extremely terrible, I think I'll just vote for the one I want to win, and to hell with the results.
The brackets are just for fun. The point system is just for bragging right. Regardless of how you fill it out, completing it will get you 25 entries into the random prize drawing for one of the Alienware laptops.

Sucks to be Mojang. First year in the competition and they're up against Nintendo round one.

I'm hoping Zynga gets put down by Naughty Dog this time, but who really knows? They beat some big contenders last year.

Did you read your own link you entitled 'The ethical question'?

The implication being that Turbine acted in an unethical manner by putting an advert in the launcher.

Why couldn't you just let it rest. Why stir up all that ill feeling again?

Silly Spin with his normal-person sleeping habits. When he wakes tomorrow he'll be greeted by a ton of "WHY DOESN'T THE LINK WORK, SPIIIIIIIIINNN?!".

That being said:

I can't access the MM main page, instead being redirected to the Escapist homepage. Just thought I'd let ya know O:D

EDIT: ooooooh, cool, I JUST noticed the MM scoreboard below each poster's badges. Nice idea!

Nah, I think Mojang will at least upset it's way until the final four where Valve will finally humanely put it down.

I think you underestimate the power of the Mojang following, I think it will be enough for it to beat Nintendo.

Also, personally, I think everybody should get behind Cryptic and work to get Zynga out early in round one, because if we don't, it will most likely be a repeat of last year, and it took pretty much the entire gaming community and the Valve supporters to finally destroy the Zynga monster. And if you noticed, Zynga is in the same division it was last year, while Valve has been moved to a division in the bottom of the bracket, which means it can't come down to Valve saving us from a Zynga appearance in the finals, God forbid that Zynga has the success that it did last year. Our only hope will be BioWare, and since I have BioWare winning the whole thing, I hope it is up to the challenge if it comes down to it.
