My granddad bought me my first computer when I was 5. It came with a copy of Mechwarrior 2. You now have my entire childhood.

Pirate version on Donkey Kong that was called Dave's Kong. Completely broken game but fairly fun. First real game I played was one of the Jack Nicklaus golf games, that worked on DOS.

Frogger, the 3D remake on the PS1 was the first video game I ever played.

From that point forward, I knew I was destined to be a gamer for life.

Good god yes. Best level is the one where you skate down that huge mountain on ice.

Pokemon Red, on my GBA (gameboy game). I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out what was the exit (I was 5), and played it for about an hour that day. In all, it must have gotten 100+ hours

Commander Keen and the Secret of the Oracle.

I'm old-school.
This :D I was around 4 or 5 and we just got our first computer. I remember how that game scared me so much and I often just watched my mother play. It seriously scared the hell out of me and when I finally tried it on my own, it was like the biggest achievement in my life. But I couldn't beat it, so when my mom did, I thought she must be nothing short of a genuine hero.
