First Kinect Sex Game Prototype Pops Up [NSFW]

I think a game like this will rise or fall on how well the animated characters respond to your movements. It isn't much more than an animated gif unless they seem to be responsive. Consider how stupid it LOOKS when you first watched someone play guitar hero. The difference (in paradigms) is that guitar hero has the entire game focused on giving you good feedback when you are hitting the right buttons.

Something like this could actually be very convincing if you start correlating your actions to the in game characters responses.

Take it out of context for a moment, and just consider the actual technology that could evolve from something like this (strong emotive recognition of actions) and you'll see it isn't any less a technological achievement than streaming media ever was (And you KNOW why that became popular).

Yeah, I kinda thought that, too. Mindlessly sliding your hand over a girl's body doesn't do much for her, generally.

Anyway, I don't really know what to make of this. It could potentially be slightly better than what we're all expecting, but I doubt it. That said, it really has some potential to widen Kinect's target audience.
