That's the way I've always looked at it. And who doesn't love Halloween?Hazy said:When, in all actuality, it's pretty much Halloween - minus scaring the hell out of infants and all of the candy.
Yep, if you're gonna do it, do it right.brunothepig said:I have nothing against it done properly.

Like the skinny Japanese girl who dressed up as a fat Italian plumber.
Basically you answered that by saying what it is. Dressing up like japanamation/videogame characters just seems wrong and kinda creepy to me. I guess I'm more on the side of programming/web dev/game creation nerd than the anime/manga/cosplay obsessed side. The only time I saw it and didn't think something negative (actually thought it could be fun), was when I saw some thing on here or Kotaku about STALKER cosplay. Looked more badass then geeky.Chancie said:What is it about cosplay you dislike?

In case you don't know, cosplay is basically dressing up as an anime or video game character.

It's unnecessary unoriginal behaviour that contributes to nothing. Why try to look like someone else when you can dress up in a fashion style you like?Chancie said:Why?
