As a fat dude with cliche facial hair, I must speak out of this blatant attempt to stereotype myself and others like me. The mainstream videogame media is always so quick to point blame.

This reminds me of when Princess Peach was abducted by Bowzer. The videogame media was quick to place blame on the "fat dude with cliche facial hair" friend of Mario, while completely ignoring the skinnier Luigi's culpability.

I can only sincerely ask that, when a fat dude with facial hair does something stupid again in the future, the mainstream video game media realize that the true culprit is obviously Grand Theft Auto and has nothing to do with facial hair, waist size, or choice of anachronistic clothing.

No one was picking blame or fun at guys who are heavy, it just so happens a heavy set guy with cliche' facial hair failed to parent his child well, and failed to correctly punish her without beating her.

'Facepalm' on the missed sarcasm from my post. Hoped the humor about Mario/Luigi and the faux GTA blame might make the point of my post clear. I personally love games and know that they are no more to blame for stupid people doing stupid things than Ren Fairs or facial hair.

I'd say hitting someone repeatedly is a pretty traditional form of abuse, as far as traditions go in abusing people. Perhaps doing it whilst dressed in armour isn't though.

Either way, I'd say the most unusual form of abuse here is being sat on.

Okay, so you're saying just because someone is overweight, they cannot be proficient at swordplay? They cannot know how to use their greater mass to their advantage and bully a sixteen year old GIRL with it?

Let's not forget the fact that she's already been beaten before this happened and wasn't exactly in a decent shape to swordfight, something she'd probably never done before while he had his own armor and everything?

I don't know what's going through your mind here, sir. You're supporting the beating of children (if I'm reading you correctly), and yes, I say children. She is still legally a child.
