Greatest...story...ever

I'm in a communication media writing class and I had to hold back laughing at this, thank you Fox, for entertaining me w/ football and your horrible news shows where you speak like the mother of Bobby Boucher, because everything they don't like "is the devil!"

hmmm :/ You. Fucking. Idiots.
it's equal parts hilarious and soul-crushingly depressing that this kind of thing makes the news. Come on America, this is where your negative stereotype comes from. Surely you can just shut these dumbasses up?
Alternately, I hear straight logic melts their brains

Well if videogames aren't the cause of violence, tell me where it comes from.

You can't can you?
Violence has been around since even before man has. It's "Cause" is still a mystery, but allow me to speculate.

Anger, hatred, greed, and fear. Four of some of the oldest emotions, and some of the most dangerous.
You apparently did not c wut i did thar =/
My bad. Sarcasm is hard to read on the internet.
It wasn't sarcasm, as it was making fun of the comment about Bill O'Reilly. Bill was talking to some kids about the moon and he said something along the lines of

"Okay, so the moon causes the tides, so where did the moon come from. Tell me where it came from. You can't, can you?"

Guys, Fox has all but outright stated that they make this stuff up. They have actually gotten one court to rule that the First Amendment allows them to make up total bullshit and pass it off as fact.

Either this is part of Bulletstorm's ad campaign or the ad marketers are revelling in all this free publicity. I'm waiting for the games industry to catch onto this trend.

1). Make games with at least 1 sexual or vulgar reference in them, and at bare minimum someone getting punched and receiving a nosebleed.
2). Ask Fox News to give a completely unbiased opinion on your game, or just send it to them in the mail.
3). Fox news takes it as breaking news and goes over the top and never shuts up about it.
4). ????
5). PROFIT!!!1!!1

Not hard to follow, eh? Saving money by having a news network rant on like idiots about your game means you can save money in the ad department. Why bother wasting money when your game is on display to anyone who watches Fox news?

Oh wait.

I'm going to try to get on the news to discuss the observed direct correlation between video games and the increase in cratchety old misanthropes who blow everything out of proportion on national television under the guise of news.

I wasn't aware that M rated games were meant to be played by young children. If you are giving this game to your children without even noticing the lovely M for Mature on the cover than, quite frankly, you are an idiot. It's a simple matter to flip the game over and see WHY the game has been given the rating that it is. And yeah, maybe some games are aimed more at teenagers and young adults than most, but from what I've seen, violent games with explicit sexual references aren't aimed at kids. If you're buying them for your kids and not noticing the rating, then you have no reason to complain about it.

But seriously, I shouldn't be surprised. This is Fox News after all.

Seriously kids are going to be more like
"WHOA I just totally blew his head off with that grenade spike! Did you see that !?!!?"
rather than
"Gangbang points ? NEED TO RAPE!"

I guess Bulletstorm had this coming, pffftt still looks awesome.
