Omg Fox News doesn't like Bulletstorm....i thought it was going to be a stupid shooter, but this changes everything. I might actually buy this one then....

Anyways video games like this are not marketed to kids, the M rating should be a sign. Its really funny when they try to sound logical and use made up studies that can at best show a weak relationship between video games and violence. Please don't listen to Fox News and work to help the economy not make arbitrary video game regulations.

I actually like America a lot. The cultural output is dear to my heart. Fox News, though? WTF??

I find it disheartening that Murdoch controls so much of the media at the least, and downright depressing that crap like this gets aired.
Sure. It's kinda tasteless....

But the game isn't supposed to be sold to young kids, is it???
If movies can do it, what's preventing retailers??

meh, parents' own faults if their underage children are playing a 18 rated game. "look after you're own children" and all that.

Considering the leaked memos from Fox News editors stating that their reporters should focus not on facts, but controversy, this doesn't strike me at all as a surprise. Doesn't the FCC have regulations against this sort of thing?

Gotta love this coming from the same people who air a show with a guy who's regular drink for his dates is "ruphie colada"... For those of you not educated in fine media it is quagmire in family guy.

Fox, please stop. You're making me ashamed of you. I really would rather not be ashamed of you, Fox. I'd like you to be a quality conservative news source. I'd like you to balance the equation, even things out against MSNBC et all. But when you attack my favorite hobby for no reason, without looking at the facts or even knowing what's going on, I can't support you. For shame.

It's refering to this, which is Bill O'Reilly proving God exists.
That is perhaps the most devastating clip I've ever seen.

I've seen O'Reilly a few times, and while he is obviously an idiot, the sheer scale of the self-deception on display here is astonishing.

This clip may serve as evidence in deciding to wipe out all of humanity. Good job Bulletstorm comes out soon then right?

And if that's not alarmist enough for you, psychologist and author Carol Lieberman took it one step further, directly blaming videogames for a rise in sexual violence. "The increase in rapes can be attributed in large part to the playing out of [sexual] scenes in videogames," she said.
I call absolute bullshit on this claim. I can't find a single study to support this claim. I literally just checked through the Psychology articles database that I have access to and there wasn't a single one.

I've played the bulletstorm demo, and may I say, Fox is completely correct; I've raped my daughter, nearly beat my wife into a coma, and stuck my penis down my son's throat and pissed down his esophagus....ha bullshit i did. Really Fox, while technically psychiatrists are medical doctors, psychology does not run any actual medical test. it is based on the judgement of a psychologist or psychiatrist depending on how a 'patient' is acting at that certain time. any psychologist or psychiatrist can say the effects of substance 'X' on brain of people group 'Y'. same with research papers, you can find information that supports your topic regardless of what it is for the most part.

Most American's point and laugh at the network, and then feel ashamed that it gets such high ratings.

Well, Fox would know best. I mean they were bang on when they said that Grand Theft Auto would turn me into a car thief who kills cops, why wouldn't they be right about this too?

I would rage over this, but truth be told, there will always be mindless sheep to be terrified of whatever non-issue is currently being packaged and sold to them as a viable danger. In general, there are so many unfortunate, uninformed, stupid people in the world (with what appears to be an increased concentration here in the U.S.) that getting all riled up over it is unnecessary.

As such, I've decided to let the nearly 20 years' worth of videogame violence and sexual innuendo that has so clearly irreparably destroyed my once innocent, virginal mind take control completely, and use this superhuman psychotic aggression to go punch the wool off sheep in Minecraft.

Just because I don't agree with such a disreputable news group from having such a large audience, doesn't mean I agree with such violent video games having a large audience. There are so many other things we could use game engines for apart from depiction of guns and boobs.
Actually, the producer is a woman who went out of her way to make sure that the female character only has average boobs, and that her boobs are fully covered like all the time.
