I understand The Escapist is just reporting news, but does anyone else see the irony of them posting this 'news'? This site is so against the very concept of a troll that hatred flows through the blood of almost every member here, so why are we feeding this obvious troll? Let the stupid, fat, hillbilly, frumpy mom fade into internet obscurity and take a lesson from your own rule book... Don't feed the trolls!
Or how about this, and forgive me for suggesting the wild idea that video games are just about as effective at changing society as radio in today's eyes: suppose if Einstein played video games, nothing different would happen. I mean, Jesus fucking Christ Frumpy Mom! Video are, like TV and computer, various forms of colors and images formed by pixels dancing gayly about your screen as you shoot them or whatever. I bet there was a Frumpy Mom figure from 1915 or whoever the hell cares who said radio was evil. Guess who was completely fucking wrong. Dur de durrrr...

Anyone realize that she says she doesn't want her kids playing video games because they 'limit the imagination and stop them from thinking themselves' and yet she is stopping the kids from doing something she and her biased disagrees with.

Seriously, though, people keep saying "Don't feed the troll" and "Let's just ignore her" but I disagree. People like this need to be repudiated completely, called out on their fabrications, lies and inconsistencies and have their soapbox taken away. You can't let ignorant people claim scientific facts not in evidence.
