Looks like Dave Chappelle became another biatch in a box stand, willing to love his corporate overlords. You don't like Trump and his crazy fanatics, but you're willing to give Elon Musk a chance. Who is a said Trump fan boy, simp, and an egotistical tyrant when nothing better to do with his life.
Funny part is the ‘wasn’t expecting this reaction.’ Elon is so used to shouting woke and stuff about elections that gets him so many likes and retweets he thought he was actually liked outside of that environment.
If anyone is a real-life Muppets villain who gets outsmarted by Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, its Elon Musk.

Please don't even put him in the same category as a Muppet villain. All of them have more sense and intelligence alone or combined compared to Musk.

Oh come on, its a perfect fit! Musk is an insane villain who hires Dr. Bunsen Honeydew to remove the 'fish' from goldfish because he wants to corner the gold market. And Rizzo the Rat and Gonzo have to stop him!

Not climate change, poverty, mass starvation, war, landmines, or any other horror of our modern world.
Being 'woke' is literally the greatest threat to society.
Because being "canceled" is the one thing money can't buy you out of. The fuck does Musk care about poor people or the climate or war? That's for the rabble.
But his ego? Not being seen as the greatest human ever? Not being allowed his weird racial views? Yeah, that's something Musk cares about.

Hmm, yes I bet this is connected to him trying to rationalise his poor reception at chappelle's show -"they must be woke-indoctrinated".

Still no. They have more dignity and grace than Musk will ever have. Which is nothing. I do like your hypothetical though.

Ouch. But yeah, the fact that he was cozying up to him in any fashion, especially now, is an extremely bad look on Chappelle. Guess that pushback over his trans jokes really scared him, huh.
Those weren't even jokes. They're nothing more than glorified rants seeking validation abou his bias against LGBT, and him assuming he was right on everything about community (which he wasn't). Chappelle knew what he was doing, but he was dumb and egoistical enough to think he wouldn't getting it any trouble over this. This is why you don't cozy up to races or sexists. The end result will always not be pretty. Those so-called "friends" you stick your nose out for, will happily abandon you when it's convenient, it gets too rough, or abandon their petty politics and ways of thinking for yourself or someone else's.

He can't handle the idea of other people not loving him as much as he loves himself. A common problem with egolords.

Definitely, the bad guy in the first muppets movie was played by a guy who was in the US Army in WW2, was at the D-Day landings and fought at the Battle of the Bulge.

But if we are just talking about the characters, not the actors, then I give you:

Musk isn't a Muppets villain. He'd be hard pressed to be a Captain Planet villain.

I would say Musk is more like the bad guy CEO/developer in an 80's sequel movie who wants to bulldoze the youth center or local puppy refuge to make way for a strip mall.

Oh, the guy they tell that they have to cancel/change the big event due to the threat of monsters, but he refuses because money. Swtich monsters to global warming, and have him avoid getting eaten three quarters in and it works very well.

"“My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci,” Musk wrote."
Oh, Musk's got a huge chip on his shoulder against the government, in part because of the COVID closures (valuing human life more than his ego) as well as daring to apply rules to him when it comes to making false statements in order to manipulate stock prices (he should get to say whatever he wants without consequences; he's rich!).

My favorite Muppet movie of all time!

Even Captain Planet villains have more smarts, dignity, and grace compared to Musk. None of them would want to willing work with the wussy whack-job.

Hah! Hoo shit. Well, this does more than confirm Chappelle is just an out of touch rich old dude coasting on his past laurels. Or Musk's paycheck was too juicy to ignore. Likely both. Attacking his audience for not fawning over Musk by implying they're poor, then to comparing them to civil unrest using the pejorative rhetoric the republicans use when trying to smear protesters before just resorting to an old fashioned witless "shut the fuck up" is a pretty fucking big tell he's comfortably cemented himself fully in the walled, gated community gardens of Elysium, leaving aside why anyone would think having Musk on stage there would be a good idea in the first place. Is a sad state of affairs tbh.

Anyway, with these guy's voiced opinions on "free speech" I am incredibly curious what they think of Musk just flat out deleting/permabanning people's profiles who shared these inspirational videos on twitter. Along with all the other banning of personal criticism and shit he's doing like loudly courting qanon crowds becaue of fucking course: all the talentless grifters float towards there. Masks are slipping.
I would add (since you are talking about Free Speech) that telling his own audience to shut up and just agree with me is not very pro-Free Speech of Chappelle.

Nor can I understand wanting to call your audience poor just because they disagree with you
