I feel like I speak for the entire political spectrum when I say "let them burn it all down, fill up the jails afterwards" is sucky policy.
You kinda have to let them do a crime before you can arrest them for a crime.

Sounds to me like the protesters didn't get much, if any leniency.
The prosecutor told the judge he saw Lee as a protestor, not a rioter and asked for leniency. Normally if you get 10 years for a federal arson charge, it means nobody was hurt and the damages were pretty limited. Guidelines would put a typical sentence for the arson at 20 years, without considering the guy he burned to death inside - which they didn't charge him with despite the evidence being clear he died in the building from the fire that Lee set.

And we just have to hope that Algeria believes the boxer and not JK because otherwise she is dead
If gay and trans rights are already nonexisted in Algeria, than women's rights are already probably not that great either. But yeah, all it takes is one conspiracy muddled mind to want to do something about it... you know, for women's sport. Thanks J.K. Rowling, you hateful c*nt.

Far-right influencer Andrew Tate has become the target of anti-trans conspiracy theorists after a photo of him wearing a tiny pair of swimming trunks went viral.

Said speedo also has the colors pink, blue and white. The trans flag has those colors.

What more proof do you want? It's right there in the open.

She is not aware of what happens when people in Algeria are de-closested. It's not pleasant. But I would guess she would be for it

Does JP understand that profession boards are there to make sure that people are professional? Because all evidence points to the contrary
I suspect JP believes himself too important to follow the professionalism requirements of his profession.

LOL. Best part is the pattern and lighting almost looks like a camel toe. Guess we all knew he was compensating for something, and now we have photographic evidence.

I wonder how long before he posts nude somewhere to "prove" he's not trans?

I didn't know the UK would have anti-immigrant riots before the US.

It wouldn't be as stupid if he didn't spend an inordinate amount of time demanding that teachers and professors should follow professional standards too (or, at least standards he made up)

I mean, the riots were done by a very small section of the population

Brexit has now been shown to be solely about immigration so I don't know why you think they would take it a step further

A bunch of people in the UK are still to realise that their current economic situation is the result of their stance on immigration and are just doubling down. You should check out what the Telegraph said a day ago

Below is a list of trust in various professions.

It's notable that healthcare professions are at the top. There's a very good reason for that: it's because healthcare professions oversee themselves with rigorous regulations governing the conduct of their members. Damaging the reputation of your profession can result in sanctions.

In healthcare, such as Peterson wants to believe himself a part of, trust matters because people who fear they will receive poor treatment may avoid seeking it. When the public read healthcare practitioners spewing lies, hate, prejudice and malice some of that rubs off on the wider profession. So for instance a transperson may see Peterson tout himself as a clinical psychologist and expounding hate at transpeople, and reasonably may worry about how they will be received if they seek mental health treatment. How many other clinical psychologists feel that way? Does the wider profession agree or sympathise with Peterson if they do not take him to task? Even if they do seek treatment, suspicion of the person treating them may seriously harm their ability to be treated.

Peterson's lawyer waffles a load of shit about how Peterson is more adept at social media than his regulating body. In a sense he possibly is, if the metric is getting views and likes. It's ridiculous PR fluff, however, because Peterson is being hauled in for social media training because he is damaging the profession through prejudicial and hate-riddled views, not because he's deficient at getting his message across.

Peterson doesn't even want to practise any more. I would suggest he wants to hold on to his licence just for ego and appearances, to pretend that he is still a professional in good standing because that aura of expertise helps him market his right-wing bigotry product.

The US government and the US industry need a cyber offense strategy for major threat actors, not just a defense policy.
