If there was a bigger story there of why they were detained, we'd already know it probably.
There's really no reason for this to be a story (at least yet) in the first place.

[...]

Like Gordon said, it doesn't seem like ICE was doing anything out of the ordinary. They had reason to be looking for that guy; they found him, questioned him, and let him go.
I'm sure if the other people he was driving with that ICE took away was just ordinary people that legally belong in the US, we would know about them by this point. Again, this is a complete nothing burger of a story so far and you guys are whining about it, not me.
So in short: you're just happy to assume the targets deserved it. Even though the driver was wrongfully detained, and they carted away two other people who they weren't even looking for when they stopped the car.

You're just allowing enormous assumptions to deliver you to the conclusion you wanted to come to anyway.

Unless there's evidence to the contrary, why would I assume they didn't deserve it? When I see a cop that pulled someone over on the way home, am I supposed to assume the target didn't deserve it? If a cop pulls someone over for say speeding and they find the person has warrants on them, are they not supposed to arrest them? Why would you assume ICE took those people away for no reason? They probably found something on them in the legitimate search for the guy they wanted to question. This is standard police procedure type stuff. Unless there's evidence to the contrary, why would I care? Am I supposed literally research and look up every single person that is detained by some kind of enforcement agency to make sure it was legit?

You guys should be talking about the guy from the college that is being detained, that's a story, this is not.

"Standard police procedure" doesn't involve handcuffing and detaining someone for whom there is no warrant. Given that that happened, and given that we know why they stopped his car and it wasn't for the passengers, there's good reason to be bloody sceptical of their motives. Especially since we know for a fact they've been arresting other legal residents with the President's blessing.

I literally brought him up. And you dismissed it by saying the courts could overturn it. You didn't seem to give any more of a shit about him.

Yes it can. The Tyreek Hill video where he got handcuffed and there was no warrant for him:

Again, I didn't dismiss it, I said that was bad. I pointed out that the courts will overturn it because they will. Just like when they removed Trump from ballots (I took the "receipts" of democrats being anti-democratic) and I knew it was unconstitutional, would get overturned, and felt no need to worry about it.

Sir "never trust the official narrative" predictably rolling over like a simpering cuck to show lovely soft white belly to literal unchecked kidnap squads
Presuming you're talking about who I think you are, it's the guy who proudly talks about supporting Bernie Sanders - who is literally the only self-declared socialist in the Senate - for president and then writes about socialism being a load of crap that will never work. Or starts banging on about the Scandinavian system being better and then rejects every policy that would ever move the USA anywhere towards it. That's the level of joined-up thinking going on.

No warrant was the wrong term. No warrant or observation of a crime involving the individual. Tyreek Hill was pulled for speeding and reckless driving, apparently. Jensy Machado was not observed committing any crime and nor was any crime reported for which he was suspected.

Any feelings about the President explicitly endorsing his arrest and promising more?
