Gamers Rage About Bayonetta 2 on Wii U

Why do gamers always overreact like this? :/

I´m dissapointed that it will be WiiU exclusive as i loved the first game, but no need to rage against Nintendo. Just hope that they convert it to Ps3/Xbox360 some day in the future, cause no way in hell i´m buying a WiiU just to play Bayonetta 2 .

Sad to see it's not reaching a wider audience, as I did love the first one, but it's either Wii U or not at all.
I'm just happy that they'll be able to make it at all and I'll be sure to get it if/when I get a Wii U.

I feel slightly bad for fans of Bayonetta who don't want to get a WiiU, and I can understand why they're mad. But seriously, behave people! If you want the game that badly, buy a WiiU. I did the same with my PS3 for MGS4, and I've never regretted it.

Why can they not release it on multiple consoles? Why are people ok with exclusives? How is it somehow fine for a game to be actively denied to people for no other reason than to force them to buy another console? This is just another casuality to a seriously anti consumer practice.

Oh and to those who think they are somehow mighty for belittling people who cant play the sequel to a game they liked: You arent being clever, you're being dickheads. Why on earth should people be forced to buy a console for games which clearly are not specific to the console in question?

Haven't played the first bayonetta, wasn't that the game that caught some real sexism discussions about big boobs etc? I know I'm getting a wiiU someday, not sure about the games yet thou, got a few that has caught my interest.

Because the people who make the console are paying the bill to get the game made? Why should they use their money to make a sequel to a game everyone else gave up on, then make it for competitors consoles so other companies can have it, so you can avoid giving them your money for a console they've made and a game they have paid to publish? Not to mention it's WiiU so likely it WILL be exclusive to the console, and you expect Nintendo to foot the bill so it can ported to the X-Box 720 and the PS4? That sounds reasonable to you?

Seriously, it's pretty much entirely how the big three compete by who has the best exclusives, no-one would be saying shit if it was an X-box exclusive. Hell, there are people on this forum who still don't think Bethesda's handling of Dawnguard was f*cking shoddy by releasing it for X-box 2 months ahead of PS3 and PC, and that's a legitimate issue as it isn't hard to port DLC.

More OT: We don't ***** about Halo being only on X-Box or God of War only being on Playstation, it just so happens Bayonetta is now only going to be on WiiU. And? If you want to play the game I guess you're going to have to give WiiU a try, if you don't then give Platinum Games the money it needs out of your own pocket to buy back full publishing rights and make a game for the X-box or whatever. It'll only cost you something like 15 million dollars (conservative f*cking estimate there).

It's like Nintendo want us to buy their products or something crazy like that!

Does someone really care? I don't get it. It's just an another video game. There are millions of them. Go play something else. Big deal! PC gamers deal with dumbness of XBox-exclusives while XBox and PC are extremely close, and Wii U is rather different platform from both PS, XBox and PC. So what's the problem? You* won't get your fetish material or something? The only right answer to any exclusive is IMO: "Screw you, developer, publisher or whoever thought it's a good idea. I won't buy your product that does not suit me".

Besides, if this happened to the PS3 or xbox there wouldn't be anywhere near this uproar. People just love to hate in Nintendo to show how "hardcore" they are.

The name "Wii" has become synonomous with "fucking retarded controls" so you really can't blame the fans wanting their fast-paced-reflexive-combo game on something that sports a nice traditional controller.

Wii U is guaranteed to throw atleast some % of motion-controller and/or dual-screen bullshit that is bound to piss off fans and reviewers alike.

I still can't get over how much people appear to have wanted a Bayonetta sequel. I mean, the first game was alright and pretty funny, but it wasn't something I ever thought would need a sequel.

Well, I will just buy Wii U. I've already considered it, because of Ninja Gaiden 3 Dismemberment edition.
I really liked Bayonetta on PS3, shame can't have both games on same system, but it's not world's end. Could be worse for me - if it was Microsoft exclusive I'd just forget about it, I'll never buy a Microsoft product.
Looks like I'll be getting white one... Question is - when Bayonetta 2 comes out? This winter or not?

On topic of the news, this is idiotic. PG does not own anyone anything. You want a game, you pay required price. If you don't want to buy Wii U (maybe you have major beef with Nin like I do with Microsbastards) then you just, you know, don't buy it. And go buy something else. I'm sure Bayonetta 2 will be fully uncensored - this is Nintendo's way to win the hardcore market. Look at Ninja Gaiden 3!

The most hilarious thing about the ENTIRE ordeal is that they were ALL gonna line up to buy a Wii U on launch day anyway.

I know a guy who swears up and down that he's "done" with Nintendo after he gave his Wii to his grandma and grandpa so they could play bowling... and then he bought another one for himself, lol.

But then this is a guy who bough 8gb ram for his laptop when he only uses it to watch massive amounts of porn and do facebook crap. So his intelligence is suspect at best.
