I've played my fair share of violent and otherwise disturbing video games and i'm not a rapist/murderer.
I've actually had a look at some of these studies, most, if not all of them always say that these correlations are true for people who are psychologically pre-disposed to committing the violent act anyway and the trigger is not necessarily exclusive to video games, it could be any other form of media they consume.
Basically, this woman doesn't like video games and wants to damage them. Unfortunately, all she's influencing are bible-belt state mothers and old people who want something to be angry at because they can't accept the fact they're not as in control as they used to be.

There is a problem with those, though. The flame reviews given on her books are only going to lend credence to her arguements by those that read her books or seek her for psychiatric help. And the reasoning for that has absolutely fuck all to do with video games and everything to do with the hard work of campaigners and law enforcement professionals to change the way that rapes are handled, investigated and prosecuted.
