<--- Geek. I've been called cute, but that's about it. I'm sure that there are some geeks out there that society would consider hot just as there are some that are the exact opposite. It's all based on personal preference and such. There's attractive people in all areas of life and of all types. Granted having a similarity such as a common interest definitely increases the sexy factor, hense why geekiness to other geeks can be more readily accepted as being sexy.

I always believed that its not Leaders or Presidents and so forth that rule the world. Those that truly rule the world, are the Grease Monkeys and the Geeks. Because if anything Mechanical breaks down, any transportation, and any computer breaks down, The World Stands Still! Such Power! And what isn't attractive about that.
Of course, there's also positive associations and other psychology, but i think this point is heart of the matter.

Eh... 'Geek' is defined more by what you like then how you look. Case in point, some guy I work with has the geek look down, but he's about as ungeek as you can get. (Ungeek... Think I coined a new word!)
Meanwhile, I just look like your typical longhaired rocker-type, only with glasses, but when it comes to books, music and certain video games, I'm the geekiest geek that ever geeked. Seriously... Never mention Stephen King, Diplomacy or any form of classic rock around me. I will literally talk your ear off.
