Why a visual novel? The puzzle part I get, but this should be either a 3rd-person action game, or an FPS. I get mixing it up, but the last thing Tron needs is a visual novel.

Nice!

Another hot shot that can't keep their mouth shut, nor learned empathy.

Sucks to be tiktok.

...couldn't Wakanda end the war in like, a minute with their techology? And avoid sending their king into battle in the first place? 0_0

Heck, just give them the vibranium in Cap's shield as a downpayment.

We got not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Assassin's Creed games coming up

Hopefully we're ditching the gameplay of the recent games

An AC game that's ACTUALLY in Japan.

A mobile game set in China

An AC game that's.... horror-based? Strange direction but I'll take it!

It should be noted that Red and Hexe are both suppposedly part of Infinity, a platform that will feature multiple smaller game projects.

I can't help but feel we have been here before with AC games. Minus the horror for one of them. More power to you and @Dalisclock, but I am still staying out of this. I warn you not to get too excited.

I am happy XBOX and PC players can get the GG experience as well!

Holy fuck they're really doubling down.

Not interested in the infinity thing at all though so those are totally dead to me right out the gate.

I notice 3 of those told us nothing about the game so we have one actual trailer and 3....things with names attached.

Something else that just came to mind is that the last time Ubisoft made 2 AC games at the same time was Rogue and Unity. Rogue was basically a Black Flag remix and really short, while Unity was incredibly buggy when it launched and even today has problems with how it's structured.

So now there's 4 of them being worked on so. We know one is a mobile game, so I guess that one won't need much thrown into it but supposedly the other 3 are going to be full games and.....I can't help but wonder if they're not stretching themselves a bit thin here.

I'm not excited at all actually. I'm expecting at least one of these to land like a stinky turd and I have no interest in infinity or Infinite.

The rest are strictly wait and see

The AC mobile game being set in China kinda feels like a joke in bad taste lol.

Also, really, Japan? They should have done either Korea or some other Asian country because Ghost of Tsushima renders whatever they're planning to do moot.

They already did China once before as a 2.5D XBLA spin-off. Ubisoft is in a rut within another rut.

I still remember the times on the old thread you had users saying an AC or AC style game could "never work" in Japan. Tsushima proved them all wrong. Big Ubi can take a stab at it, but I won't be impressed much.

I might be interested in an AC China game IF it were a full fledged one and not yet another Mobile/side game. As it is, yeah, can't be bothered to care really.

I mean God of War pretty much owned the norse themed game market, but that didn't stop them from making Valhalla. Hades was much better received than Odyssey, but that didn't stop Ubisoft from trying to pump contents into the game.

AC game in Joseon Dynasty might work, but I wouldn't expect too much leap of faith since the buildings in that era were almost one story, and only a handful would've been tall enough to give the effect you feel in current games.

The earilest era for Korea where AC game can work the best is probably Japanese Occupation, where lots of tall buildings were built. Also, the idea of hunting down the conspirators who betrayed the country sounds cool.

I still can't believe they release two AC game at the same time, who though this was a good idea? Even the biggest fan won't buy two game at once because they'll be busy playing one!

I guess in this case its more of a "hey we're making more of them, don't forget us" and maybe they'll release them once a year. Anyway won't care until they come to steam, and eve then, meh... W/e happen to the pirate game anyway?

Maybe it's a premature apology for Skull and Bones, which apparently is going to release soon I think?

Honestly, this all feels like "AND YOU GET AC! AND YOU GET AC!" somehow. Maybe Ubisoft really has scrapped the bottom of the barrel so much they're just out of ideas.
