Nintendo most of the time, does not like repeating "unique" gameplay mechanics.

I'm loving the new gameplay mechanics already. They're literally taking elements from Astral Chain and Scalebound. They even have the summons switching attacks! Viola plays like Raiden. Doing a perfect parry grants you Witch Time! Bayonetta 3 is going to be a complete game changer. It is going to said another new standard for action games and how they play.

I really hope they ditch the weapon breaking system.

Just make it so you can hold onto a broken weapon (With no cost to inventory space) and can FIX IT later if you want to. You'd still have to manage your weapons for an encounter but at least you wouldn't have to go running around looking for a new copy of whatever you had.

I am right. As far as a PC port, if Nintendo gives it the okay, they probably won't do it until long after the game is out.

Not that I know of. I was just looking at the second video, that has the actual gameplay.
