Especially after knowing that in Japan, once you're in a company, that is basically your family. To quit from your job is pretty much like being exiled from your family.

I've been suspecting for several weeks now that we're living in a cyberpunk future. This seriously seems like something out of Shadowrun or a William Gibson story.
