"I'm highly trained in dual and single energy blades myself." Mee said to Sarah. She then turned to Jastis. "I like every other seperatist force, nothing too special." the sangheili said, then remembered something.

"Oh, and by the way, i'm Mi'T'da. My father was one of the first shipmasters to break off in the great schism. so if you ever want training, let me know." she said holding out her hand.

Sarah paused a moment, then took Mee's hand, resisting the urge to simply crush it "Sarah, Spartan-127" she said, in a some what colder tone then she'd been using "I'll consider it, the sword training i mean" she said while a voice in her head kept telling her to be nice

Lincoln-Geth-Outside VR room

The time Lincoln has spent listening and learning about the new humans and the Sangheli has been...interesting. Lincoln had been spending the majority of his time on the Broken Destiny being fairly quiet and generally avoiding contact with most organics. However, when wandering around the ship. He heard a discussion about using a Virtual Reality training room.

Lincoln approached the group gathered discussing it. "We heard a discussion about using a VR room. We wish to observe how your kind operates in combat." He asked, his visor lighting up with a sort of curiosity as he asked.

Eli had been quiet, his hands fiddling with some device from ancient earth history he'd had in a pocket somewhere on his armor. "I imagine we 'operate' in much the same way Humans do here, in this universe. We shoot stuff with large, highly capable guns, then if it doesn't work we keep shooting it. Our tactics are primarily centered around being mobile constantly and fast force application... Then again, I might be misunderstanding your curiosity."

Sarah listened to the Geth, and the ODST after they approached "well ..."Sarah started "we use a lot more melee weapons since the Covenant invasion as well, turns out, shooting a Brute really only pisses it off, a Plasma Sword works much better for those"

Lincoln-Geth-Outside VR room

"Then I am using the wrong choice of words." Lincoln responded. "Your ability to fight then. You have another race on board as well. We all fight differently, the asari have their biotics, turians have strategy, krogan have brute force, our Creators have their tech skills, and we can communicate with other Geth better than most organics do with each other." He explained. Trying to list the importance of training together thoroughly.

He paused,"Your fighting ability is what we are interested in, and it would be better in the long run to start fighting together before actual combat begins."

Everett listened to the various conversations that went on around him as the group were walking towards the VR simulation room; each one was interesting, giving new insight into those he would be working with in the near future. It was when there was a definite pause in the conversation that he hinself spoke.

"If more than just the Spartans are taking part in the VR training, why not everyone? I mean, it won't just be them that are going to be put into hellish situations throughout our stay in this universe, plus it will give both the Council Races, and us insight as to how the other fights."

The Spartan sighed. ?Alright, everyone may come. We shall count how many there are and then we will split into squads for it.?

Lieutenant Kenneth Senshi

Finishing with his targets, Kenneth sighed and noticed that a fair amount of the soldiers had walked towards... Somewhere.

Curious, he followed after them until he reached the outside of the VR room. Interesting...

Sarah didn't really have any objections to the idea "so who all is coming exactly? or just us six?" she said, refering to Eli, Mee, Her self, Jastis, Evertt, and Geth

Mee nodded and followed the spartan. "I must ask spartan, is this live fire for our weapons? I am concerned incase of accidents that might occur." she said, voicing her concerns.

"If more than just the Spartans are taking part in the VR training, why not everyone?"

"Go on ahead Sargent, but me and my squad are staying here. We've been through enough to know each others strengths, and a program isn't going to help us with this place's tactics. We're going to have to learn the hard way again, and I don't trust these guys completely enough to trust one of their programs, if they even something that works with our tech, just take a look around, we're not in Kansas anymore."

Alpha

"Would it be possible for one of you to stick around up here to help with our first time going through? Marsiani will also be helping us as she got data but never can be too sure."

"Yes, we can, Platform XT-1001,approximately 50.24 centimeters behind myself, refer to them as Xavier if that is you Organics wish. This platform was specifically Created for ship system manufacturing and integration. Along with them will be as many Geth as are needed. It is our understanding that its serial number is similar to a certain flat-screen fictional Artificial Intelligence villain during this universe's Earth's 20th century. There is no need to be worried." A mixture of Krogan,Quarian,Turian,Human,Asari,Volus, and Batarian laughter was played over Alpha's speakers, in the timbre of an Elcor.

"That was a joke Nassa Captain. Now if you would excuse this Platform, there are other tasks needed to be completed before what you Organics would call your REM cycle."

Lt. Crown remarked, reminding Everett as to their current location, this made him rethink his decision a little.

"Yeah your right Lieutenant, for a moment there I had forgotten where we were. You have a point though, we don't know what the fighting styles and tactics of this universe are quite yet; and on many occasions, a simulation can't compare to fighting the real thing; due to it usually following some sort of pattern. On the other hand, we could consider this VR session as a warm-up for what lays ahead. Perhaps some of us might want to research the Citadel Races as well, so we come up with our own strategies on how to combat them effectively as well." Everett suggested, providing an alternative for people to use.

"you think so Lt.Crown?" Sarah said before turning to the Geth

"excuse me um ... Geth, or do you have a name i can refer to you by?" she lead off "do you know if any of your number on this ship have access to data pertaining to this universe's combat logs? common as well as more advanced tactics would be best i think, as well as data on commonly used gear among the Citadel Races" she asked, then turned to Mee

"Donno, I'd think not though"

SSG Murphy

There seemed to be a crowd headed to the VR room, so Murphy followed. He wasn't a huge fan of VR sims, but was willing to give it a go with this group. MILES training was Murphy's preference. A computer, no matter how advanced, could never compare to a living, thinking being on the other end. The reactions were much more rapid, and the fight much harder.

Murphy spotted Alan hovering near the group with a confused look on his face.

"Looks like somebody forgot to take his meds today." Murphy said, walking up to him. "What do you want to bet there'll be tons of flagging in the VR?"

Alan looked at Murphy, still slightly confused.

Murphy leaned in as to not be heard, "I need some help with getting more power out of a Banshee. If you can help, I'll be able to get you some pretty good cigars that are typically not allowed on military vessel."

Murphy looked at the group. He really wanted to train with some of the Citadel races and get a feel for how they fought.

I realized that some of the stuff I've been saying might need a bit of translating. So here's a handy guide to military slang:

Mag = Magazine (commonly called "clip")
Flagging = Pointing your gun at a fellow soldier (also called a "muzzle sweep"
MILES = Laser tag with blanks. Imagine Laser Quest with real guns
Chest Rig = Load-bearing vest that carries gear, magazines, and armor plates
Split the ridge = Going halfway up on a hill or ridge line to avoid being silhouetted at the top

I'm sure there are more, but that should do it for now.

Lincoln-Geth-Outside VR room

"Excuse me um ... "Possibly, though that depends on what race you wish to know about. Each species have their strategies, though we do not have information to fully answer your question, we will tell you what we know." Lincoln responding quickly to the Sarah.

Lincoln activated his omni-tool and quickly began researching his archives on each race's strategies. "The one you should probably ask is the Turian since their race is the most militaristic. The Turians are known for being patient and methodical fighters; endurance and total war being their strong suit. Tactics for Geth would be useless to organics. We don't have any self-preservation as we can install our programs into another platform in the event that our current platform is destroyed. We can also communicate at light speed. In the time it would take for you to reload, we would have already come up with a tactic to defeat you. We are also perfect ambushers as we have none of the traits that would give organics away." There was a slight pause as Lincoln was considering adding more. After a few moments had passed he continued, "There was also something else w-I- used to do as well. We would prefer not to discuss it though; ask the platform Alpha if you want to know. Just mention Dragon's Teeth."

"I cannot give you information on commonly used gear besides guns, omni-tools, biotic amps, shields, and armor. It varies from species to species. We build our own guns for example. Everyone else buys them from various companies or is issued them by their respective military." He finally finished. His eye lit up as he forgot to mention his name, "The name is Lincoln." He hastily added.

Lieutenant Kenneth Senshi

Kenneth had been close enough to Sara and Lincoln to overheard their conversation. He rolled his eyes walking towards them, seeing that he had nothing better to do.

"Turian's look very avian-like. Kinda slender and their voices seem to vibrate. Three fingers." He pauses.

"Sorry, I should have introduced myself. Lieutenant Kenneth Senshi, at your service Miss...?"

"Already here." the asari said having been left alone by most everyone at the range. She had arrived a few mintues ago. "And from what i'm here i would like in." she finished.

Mee
"It seems that problem has solved itself Spartan." she said doing a double check of all the weapons on her, including the energy daggers in her gauntlets. The elite looked ready to tear a couple of armies apart herself.
