I'm not sure if the British version of the game had extra content in it or anything like that but I'm pretty certain that all the God of War games have had boobs, sex and women moaning off camera in the form of a quick time event (usually with red orbs as a reward for succeeding).Phoenixlight said:Ugh, this really does drag the series down in terms of respectability...
Dude, it doesn't make you a psychopath that you enjoy ripping heads of... "things" in a video-game, regardless of how gorgeous the graphics may look or not.rekabdarb said:Why the hell is everyone freaking out about a sex scene... A: there was one in the first one B: there was one in the second one C: it's a series literally based around MURDERING everything, how did the story have any respectability. It's the god damned action is what makes the game amazing, and from playing the demo, i think i got more horny ripping off the head of *will not say* than the video itself... although i did say to myself that i would warn whoever is in the room if i happened to get to that spot with people in attendance.
o and the reason why i was aroused at the beheading of /mumble is because of how gorgeous it looked. not a psychopath or anything... yeah that's it... NOT a psychopath
There's a video called "Minute man" beneath this video on the GT homepage.Kuliani said:That's what I was wondering. Do the other girls start frowning and saying stuff like "oh... that's just wrong", "Wow, he completely missed", "For the god of war, it's odd he uses such a small sword."maninahat said:Hilarious. I wonder what happens if you keep pressing the wrong buttons:
"Oh...I'm sorry my dear, that doesn't normally happen..."
it wouldn't be very hard to dump your body in a riv.. i mean YEAH you are 100% right on everything... digital outlets.Housebroken Lunatic said:Dude, it doesn't make you a psychopath that you enjoy ripping heads of... Violence is something pretty fundamental to humans after all. We're a pretty violent species, and most of the time that trait goes against us, especially when man injures his fellow man due to frustrations and anger over petty topics, and this holds true in pretty much every confrontation, from the drunken brawl between two men at a pub where one of the men got pissed off because the other man said something that the first man didn't like to hear to such grand and violent conflicts as world wars.
BUT, using video games as a source of outlet for violence and actually enjoying it is not a bad thing like punching a real person in the face is. Violent video games show the potential of making the world a more peaceful place. After all, wouldn't we rather have the violent "psychopaths" taking out their urges on digital characters on a screen rather than doing it against real people?
No. no and no. Buying a unknown, back of the shelf game because it has a sex scene would be cheap marketing.SakSak said:Quite possibly, but what is the point? Why spend money and time and effort on that?IamQ said:I think you're taking it a bit too seriusly. They probably only did it in the first god of war, because they thought it was funny. Then, as time went by, it was featured in Gow 2, so now it's become sort of a tradition in the series.
How does it improve the gameplay? How does it advance the story? How does it add depth to the storytelling or characters?
GoW III will hardly be the perfect game when it comes out: no game is. And instead of polishing it, perhaps making the story a little more engaging or adding another attack to the repertoire of Kratos...
They used time and resources for that. And everyone will either think it as an excellent fan-yay moment or be too busy fapping to think of anything.
The fapping part won't, not by itself, in that you are right. It is simply that it is indicative that poorly-executed, unrealistic clip about sex is still all that is needed for some to throw away their money. Seriously, it's like no-ones seen a half-naked woman before. What lowers the IQ is that that short clip will be enough to spark flame-wars, will feature in a lot of wet dreams and that a fanbase will grow around that short, pointless, poorly executed clip that adds nothing of value and fails to qualify as art.Besides, even if people would be fapping like crazy over them, it wouldn't lower their IQ.
Nope.Hurr Durr Derp said:Am I the only one who thought this was more funny than sexy?
This is exactly what I was thinking. So Aphrodite can deal with about two minutes of Kratos sex before calling the girls back in, eh?Murgo said:Kratos' mere presence can drive women to lesbianism. Wait...is that good?
I know. were they glued down or something?Otterpoet said:Other than those being the fakest breasts ever (when will developers learn how those things move?), that was rather amusing. About as erotic as linoleum, but amusing XD
Agreed. It's kinda silly. Sure boobs are nice and all, but internet is full of porn. That scene is completely unnecessary.Phoenixlight said:Ugh, this really does drag the series down in terms of respectability...
