Seems fine. I once made do by lying down in a field. Also, whenever I stay over at my friend's, we sleep on these really infuriatingly compact leather sofas. Either my knees are really firmly bent and ache in the morning (I normally sleep curled up a little, but if my legs are unable to straighten out due to some barrier it irritates me) or with my legs flopping over the edge. Ten months seems a bit much though. But I guess you'd get used to it.commiedic said:Sleep on my back or my side. Not really picky about environment. Spent the last 4 years sleeping in this place. Well most of each year... about 8-10 months.
This is an Ohio Class Submarine Bunk Room. Holds 9 people.
My whole family does except I think my brother. I refuse to get the machine and we tease my mum and call her a heffalump. or elephant. whichever annoys her more that dayTheKruzdawg said:My dad had sleep apnea and had a machine like that. To make light of it we'd joke about how he sounded like Darth Vader with it on.Roganzar said:On my back with the help of a Cpap.
Apnea sucks, but since I got the Cpap machine I do so much better.
It's true that sleeping on your back tends to lead to sleep paralysis in those who are already prone to it, but the nightmare thing is crazy speculation at best.Black Arrow Officer said:What position do you sleep in? Since I was born, I've slept the same way-on my stomach with my head facing the wall. My friend says I'm lucky to sleep that way because it helps prevent sleep paralysis and nightmares. He sleeps on his back and gets sleep paralysis constantly as well as nightmares almost every night. He says he can't help it because if he sleeps on his stomach he can feel his heartbeat and it creeps him out.
Occasionally I'll get sleep paralysis from time to time. I've found what works for me is to wiggle my fingers and toes. It seems to shock the rest of my nervous system back to life. I sleep on my stomach and side most of the time, but it still happens.Black Arrow Officer said:He sleeps on his back and gets sleep paralysis constantly as well as nightmares almost every night.
