Every movie i've ever seen. I'm a total villain-supporter. As a child I used to be upset when the villain died or was defeated in Disney films.
I wanted Hades to rule Olympus, I wanted Jafar to rule Agrabah, I wanted Scar to rule Pride Rock (particularly this one, something about the destroyed landscape just spoke to a very dark part of me), I wanted Frollo to kill Esmeralda and lock Quasi up forever, I wanted Gaston to kill the Beast.
This carries on to films today. I always want the villains to win. And why? Because the villains are always the coolest characters. Filmmakers try to make the heros the macho, kick-ass characters everyone's meant to look up to, but it doesn't work on me.
Fuck John McClane, I much prefer the Gruber brothers. They're just cooler, by far.

I still don't understand how anyone would actually root for them.
I think it comes down to Hans Gruber being the coolest, suavest ************ to ever lead a robbery and hostage situation. Seriously, how can you NOT love the guy? This is a dude who casually shot a guy in the brain, then went back downstairs to casually declare that the guy "won't be joining us for the rest of his life."
