Because any lawer with half an ounce of study power would see that numerous suites against yahoo and google (Even pre google purchase) have all failed due to the fact the content owner is not responsible for what people upload or link to.

This is the first time I find something come out of Jack Thompson's mouth (make of that what you will)that's halfway credible. Of course the Facebook suit is ludicrous, but the $50 bounty does make you wonder if there should be some kind of punishment involved, like removing the group, post, or thread that said it. In my mind, that's the worst they could fairly do. I don't believe the users should be banned for only starting a thread.
