riiiight. This is the same guy who tried to rake Bully across the coals for rewarding gamers for being...well a Bully. The truth is that in the game your actually taking down a number of bullies that run the school. If he'd actually played the damn thing then he'd known this.
I imagine that the same thing will be true with medal of honor. yes you can play as taliban in mulitplayer but thats a lot less contraveral then the airport scene in Modern Warfare 2 (which wasn't a huge deal either).
And as to it being a training tool...you know what yeah sure. I hope the Taliban do use this as a training tool for their troops because if they do we'll whipe the floor with them.
I can just imagine a group of talibans hitting a U.S. armored vehicale and then stopping to tea bag it, not realizing it was a decoy vehical and then getting taken out by one of our snipers.
If our forces are so poorly trained that a video game can defeat them then we would have already been invaded and killed.

Heh, replace the Taliban skins with British troops. As a Brit myself, I'd find it kind of funny, given that US troops accidentally hurting or killing British troops in friendly fire incidents is sadly not as rare as one would think, or indeed hope.Worgen said:

No, it's very unlikely this will lead to anything, and really all it's doing is creating more publicity for EA and the game itself. Regardless of what he thinks he's trying to do, Thompson is effectively just playing right into EA's hands...
