Who cares. He's been exposed for the nut he is, lost his job in disgrace. If anything, stories like this lend him credence he shouldn't be getting.

While this guy still looks like he is just as anti-gaming (and stupid) as ever, it looks like he has improved SLIGHTLY for somewhat supporting the ESRB rating system.

But, but but!! Star Wars Galaxies let you play as an Imperial Storm Trooper and no one had a problem!

Gah, I wish I could sit down with Thompson myself and have a debate over video games... Those little tricks that they constantly pull on people they interview or talk to about these thing don't work on me, never have and never will...

"No more bloggin' from will wheaton, ol jack thompson will get beatin'." (Halo 3 hoedown)

Srsly? This guy needs to get some smart slapped into him. He's a professional troll, and people (fox news) keep feeding him!

and what's this crap about 'video game massacres'? You want to bring up faults here? how about the promise to donate money to a charity of someone made a game to your specifications. WHICH HAPPENED!

Guess what Jack? Your money wasn't were your mouth was. Penny Arcade paid your money to a charity...AND YOU TRIED TO SUE THEM FOR IT!

You are scum. Seriously? You are some of hte lowest scum on earth.

Penn and Teller: Bullshit talked about videogames and violence and such. So they let a kid who played a lot of violent videogames try firing a gun, and the kid started to cry. Seriously.

It is not a training simulator. Let PEGI ans ESRP do their job.

Jack Thompson is great press for games and the gaming industry. Seriously, don't you now want to buy the latest Medal of Honor after reading this article? I do.

I think all game companies should make at least one game to try and piss off Jack. Gamers can so easily hear what he says now, and he rants off about how cool (albeit unintentionally) the latest releases are.

Come on, give the guy a break.

It's obvious what's making him so mad: Someone stole his eyebrows. Just look at the poor fella!

He's just taking it out on video games.

Wow... just wow. How stupid can people get. He must be old so he'll be gone soon and out of our hair. Not necessarily dead but too tired to keep this up. It's just too pathetic to believe someone actually hates games so much they'll plead to the government to get one removed.

You would think being disbarred as a lawyer would have made him think twice about this sort of thing. And as for the anyone can pre-order MoH, Im pretty sure you need a credit card to pre-order a game... And if some one has a credit card Im pretty sure they will be atleast 17...
Not sure if somebody already said this but you don't need a credit card to pre order a game. You need one to do it online but you can go into a store and pre order it there. In order to do that, however, you need to be at least 17.

I wonder what he does for a living now that he's not a lawyer. Someone get 4chan on him, just send him letters saying leave us alone or something. I would also like to reffer him to the "Free Speech" epsiode of Extra Credits.
