Don't see a problem.

Number one rule should be "Do not follow the initial indoctrinated disgust" when it comes to controversial things.

But then again, people will just cite their fucking religion.

You guys realise the only reason you find it wrong is because its been socially ingrained in you to think its wrong?
What, so you think it's OK?
With what I have discerned about this case, there isn't anything wrong about it, other than "Eww, some old lady is gonna have a fucking child!"
If it's all artificial insemination and implantation, then there isn't a single spot of moral high ground to stand on.
Personally, I find nothing wrong with this, or incest.
I only find something off when dealing with making kids w/o insemination and such. Mostly because it could cause issues for the child genetically.
Bunch of fucking uptight prudes with societal hate ingrained in your minds.
Oh, look, I'm not alone. Yay.

Social brainwashing or not? I find this relationship highly disturbing, unless there is a time travel involved.

No, it's been naturally ingrained into us to think it's wrong. If it was natural for this to happen, then the baby wouldn't be mutated.

Doesn't Freudian do the Oedipal complex? In which case it would be the mother, not grand mother that's the target here.
Unless his grandmother fed him and was thus responsible for his earliest pleasure experiences, there's no reason Freud would have anything to say here.

In fact, since he was put up for adoption one would presume he had no contact with his genetic family, and thus no foundation for any kind of Oedipal relationship with them.
Oi, I was making that point, though I didn't actually read the article so I didn't know the other stuff. Also Freud was an idea that the OP threw out there, I was just questioning it.

Personally I find this sort of thing disgusting. But after I read that the grandmother isn't going to give birth I can't really hate them. Sexual relationships with family members is not okay with me, but who am I to question love?

I Think this says it all

Heh, couldn't agree more.

IN all Honesty? I couldn't care...except for the fact that we're reading about it. I don't really care for incest either way, but really, I took one look at the picture and shivered involuntary. If your body shudders without your authorization, then step away from whatever you're doing.

Happy Birthday Uncle Son!
A bag of gold, a hearty meal and a lusty maiden to the man who finds me that hallmark card!

OT: This is... wrong... for a start there's the massive age gap and also the fact that they are related closer than cousins (which is still illegal I believe). I can understand that there's is love but, to want your blood grandson/mother.

I officially do not approve.

Fry from futurama tryed some thing like this. Although that was very different, and hilarious.

OT: I just feel very sorry for the child, i don't think its right for him/her.
He didn't try, he did it but even worse, he became his own grandfather. lol

I think its pretty weird, and don't understand how somebody could feel like that for their grandmother. However, If they feel that way about one another, good for them. I'd only really object if they were having the child naturally, as I think its unfair to create a person who will likely be disabled in some way or another.
