But, the point is, wouldn't "it's too gay" and therefore "this makes me uncomfortable" apply to women? Probably not the gay part exactly, but I compare the discomfort a woman feels playing something like "dead or alive" with my brother who plays something similar but involving men. Yeah, my brother is a bit homophobic, it's still the same discomfort. It's the idea that this is some scantily clad woman and somewhere someone is getting off to it. The image of that could unsettle some people. When you add the gamer stereotype that's an entire new can of worms.
That sounds like a completely personal issue. I mean, you are literally getting uneasy that someone else enjoys something you don't. How is this any different from religious people getting offended over homosexuality?
Your insecurities are your own, not something the society needs to change for. That is a really conservative and backwards viewpoint.
As for your female viewpoint, look up Ranma 1/2. That has more naked females than Jojo and it is aimed directly towards females created by a female artist. Why do you think sailor moon has 5 female characters who go naked during transformation and wear mini skirts? If you think it is because of male pandering then you couldn't be any more wrong. The general populace has no problems with nudity or even sexualisation. Its always the hyper sensitive that don't even understand the topic at hand who start throwing a hissy fit.

Does it suck? Yes. Think about this. Isn't it a good thing if there is less female nudity in games? What we shoot for is equality. That means dialing back what's saturate the market while introducing more of what's not there. Balancing the scales. It's so much of one side, that dialing back is the best way to even the play field.
How is it equality when male nudity is met with indifference while female nudity is decried? What skewed perception of equality are you holding here?

And really, I doubt their is as much male sexual objectification as their is female. I'm talking SEXUAL objectification by the way and not objectification of muscular power fantasy (Kratos for example).
And here comes the power fantasy bullshit with its cousin objectification.
What exactly do you imply by objectification here and why exactly is it negative?
Female sexual objectification and Male sexual objectification are two completely different beasts. If going by the "standard" definition of the term i.e. Desirability=objectification then I can tell you right away that there isn't a single character in the whole medium that isn't liked by someone in a sexual manner.
Hell, if we go by that definition then every dating sim is pretty much Objectification galore and let me tell you there are more dating sims which cater to females than males.
