getting laid for the first time.

Sex got better, though. Now got a regular nerdy hook-up, so we can just do it whenever we like and then go back to vidja gaems and painting our armies. AND I AM TOTALLY NOT SHOWING OFF
.
i envy you so hard .

OT: getting a girlfriend . I mean my first was cool and all , but i was young and naive and horny . I didn't end well .And wasn't all that great in hindsight.

Getting a driver's license, turning 18, graduating high school, losing my virginity, attending college....pretty much everything hahaha.

Man this world really blows, eh? I DID, however, very much enjoy the release of Skyrim. SO there's that.

Driving and graduation. I already knew at the time that a high school diploma is worth less than the paper it's printed on and by the time I got my Art History degree from Uni, the recession was in full swing and I knew getting to keep my part-time cleaning job was all I would get out of it.

As for driving, my parents insisted I get all 5 licenses. So I did. Big whoop. I don't enjoy driving at all, I can't afford a car or motorcycle and even if I could, they would be highly impractical since I live in the city center. For real, the nearest place to park is farther away from the city center than my aparment. It would make negative sense to own a motorvehicle. And even the first time driving, my only reaction was:"I've done this thousands of times in videogames. I don't need lessons. Just give me the stupid license." Only ever had 3 lessons before getting license. Driving is just piss-easy and boring.

Captcha: fools gold. I'm beginning to think the Captchas use text in the thread to be relevant. That or the machines are alive.

attutude is a very important thing...and can dictate how you experience certain things

for me I was told that highschool would be "the best time of my life" *snnrrrk* yeah right..fucking liars
They say that it's the time of your life because it only goes downhill from there. I know only a single adult that admits this.
Your phrasing seems off. It's not that you only know one adult who 'admits' it so much as you only know one adult who's managed to balls up their life so severely that the endless shitfest of high school was their high point. I mean, hell, I scrub toilets for a living, but you couldn't pay me enough money to ever go back to high school. Then again, maybe that says more about my HS experience. Your results may vary.

I was deeply dissapointed by the first blowjob I got. I had it all built up in my mind to be this wonderful feeling of sensual bliss.

Turned out to be very boring.
Because she probably didn't have enough practice, unlike a porn star?

- Losing my virginity: Uncomfortable and sometimes painful, it wasn't at all the 'unforgettable experience' as I was told to expect.
Really? Since I was 15-16 I noticed the trend of making it look uncomfortable and awkward. If you were caught by surprise, perhaps you should have watched more American Pie or those other comedies about highschool.

Drinking was never overhyped for me, I had my first stiff drink at age 12. Watching other people get excited over it has been amusing, though.

Same goes for driving... I learned to drive in a field in my uncle's '66 VW in my early teens (had to do it barefoot, thanks to not having pedals. I actually learned to grip the clutch, gas and brake levers with my toes. To this day I unconsciously curl my toes when driving). It's mostly just a responsibility not to get yourself and your passengers killed.

I knew exactly what to expect from high school, thanks to my older brother... and it sucked.

Sex... that was over-hyped. My first time was drunken, awkward, smelly and generally awful. Don't let that put you off though, kids... it's awesome if both parties know the basics of what they're doing and clean themselves properly... but to be honest, I've had some really bad sex in my time, and masturbation is far better than bad sex.

Killing other human beings... still not sure it was me who made the kill, the first time. At range, it's mostly just confusing. Never killed a man close enough to see his eyes, and I hope I never have to... which is an odd dichotomy, since I'm always armed and prepared to.

Christian confirmation - "Now you enter the ranks of the adults." was such a fat lie I wont even begin to dissect it. I was 13 and apparently an adult, though people didn't treat me differently from before now that I had lied about my religious devotion to Jesus. I couldn't smoke, I couldn't drink, I couldn't get a drivers license, I couldn't legally have sex, I couldn't move out on my own, but a final decision on life, the universe and everything? Yeah that's fine.

I did like the computer and money people gave me though. That part was alright.

Weed: A bit naff. I get a much greater buzz off a few cups of coffee or a couple pints. =/

Porn: Gets to that point where once you've seen one, you've seen them all.

Battered mars bars: Taste about as bad as they sound.

Teenagehood/secondary school. Best years of your life, my arse. -_-

Masturbation and porn. Gets boring after a while (although some studies say that having a circumcised penis can make you lose some sensation, but there are other studies that say there?s no change?anyway, I have better things to be worrying about than that), and it can get really hard to find original stuff.

Turning 16. Admittedly, I only turned 16 last November, but it doesn?t feel as if anything much has changed.

New Years? celebration. There?s all that build-up, and people making their resolutions, only for the night to end anti-climactically, everyone doesn?t keep to their resolutions and it?s just another uber-meh year.

Going to uni was the best thing that ever happened to me, I tell ya.

20,000 students, there have to be a few people I get on with.

I have no idea how I got to this point though. ihavenoideawhatimdoingdog.jpg

Driving was actually good for the few months that I actually did it... yeh those 40 lessons (=£800!!+insurance, holy crap I never worked that out before but that's a lot) were a waste of money.

But drinking is way overrated. Binge drinking = needed a piss every 30 seconds. Yes, I can total see how that is fun, and when you add puking at the climax of the night then eating a takeaway that may give you badger AIDS, then feeling lethargic for the next 3 days unless you water purge before going to bed, I just can't resist spending like £60 a week on this brilliant activity.

Ironically the actual reason I stopped drinking was cos I got fed up of hauling the heavy boxes of it all the way down the street from Sainsbury's every week. (and also cos any soda tastes better and is cheaper)

Prom was very overrated both time I went. It was like any other school dance with a higher probability of sex afterwards. wooooo.

On a related note: sex. It's fine. It feels good. That's about it. Without a close relationship to go with it I find sex to be a fairly pointless exercise in thrusting.

Moderate drinking I actually found tends to make whatever activity you're engaging in a bit more fun, but I'd still say it's overhyped and there's little enjoyment to be had in getting shitfaced.

getting a job. I was promised as a child that doing so would teach me the value of a dollar. But ya know what, after decades of working, it only taught me how much more value time has over $. I've learned how much *others* value a dollar, obsessively - almost equating to worship. But the more i work the less value a dollar has in my eye. Sorry ma, you were wrong! Or very right, but not in the way you thought you'd be. hehe
This. Oh so very much this. I think having a job is overhyped. Don't get me wrong, I've had jobs in the past that I've loved, got along great with the people I work with, had a blast, but money will never ever be as important as time. Why? Well, money can come and go, but time just goes. Now ay to get that back. And money ain't gonna help you when its all over and you cease to exist for the rest of eternity, is it?

I was referring more specifically (if enigmatically) to the pain of almost having my 'banjo string' torn by an overenthusiastic girlfriend trying something out without fully being 'ready'.

That, I did not ever see in comedies when I was in secondary-school D=

I'd definitely go with drinking....I dislike the taste and tend to like to be in control of myself, so drinking something I don't like until I lose my inhibitions is doubly unappealing.

Drinking I still don't get what is so amazing about being drunk, it almost always ends up bad in some way.

Driving just had my first few lessons after that its just piss easy and not all that exciting as everyone claims it is.

Let me tell you a secret. College is hard.

And engineering will suck out your soul through your nose if you're not careful.
What branch of engineering are you going into?
