It's kinda funny to realise handhelds have surpassed some consoles in abilities. The gamecube isn't even that old yet. I can't wait for the day we can play xbox or ps3 games on our wristwatches.
THIS. Call me when they upgrade and remake Majora's Mask. OoT was great but Majora layed a thousand heaps of awesome all over it. And I never liked grown up Link either.Dr. wonderful said:Souplex said:Why are they wasting time with this when there are much better Zelda games out there? I'd like to see Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages/Seasons, and Minish cap on a single card.
After all, they're the best Zelda games.
*Ahem*
This, is the best Zelda game ever made, the music, Atomsphere the fact they actually allowed people to die.
It's wonderful. *Rimshot*
1- Because Nintendo loves money.Arqus_Zed said:Just a few questions to all the Nintendo fans...
Why are they re-releasing Ocarina of Time again?
Why does Nintendo pour so many NES, SNES and N64-remakes on their handheld consoles?
Why do they still charge full price?
Why do they still remake N64 titles, when they already proved the original DS could do it, if anything, shouldn't they be on their way remaking GameCube titles?
Yeah, I know, seems like I'm starting a flame war, what with posting this stuff in a thread where obviously all the Nintendo fans come to gather... But on the level, I'd just like an answer and skip the 'rage' part.
(By the way, why does Nintendo never cut the prices of their games? I walk into a store and Twilight Princess still costs about ? 50?)

1 - 3) Fair enough. But since the game also had a Gamecube re-release and a Virtual Console re-release, I think the new generation already has some options.Diligent said:1- Because Nintendo loves money.Arqus_Zed said:Just a few questions to all the Nintendo fans...

2- To give a new generation of gamers a chance to play these classic games, and because they love money.
3- See answer 1.
4- Gamecube games can be played on their current main console, the Wii, making remakes a moot point.
Despite how it may look with my avatar, I'm not a huge Nintendo fan, but Majoras Mask does just happen to be one of my favourite games. I'd like to see Nintendo do something different too, but familiarity sells and as long as they're making money off the same old stuff, they'll keep making and releasing the same old stuff.
Yes. It's Ocarina of Time after being cornered in an alley and beaten half to death by "Groundhog Day" and "Alice in Wonderland".Arqus_Zed said:By the way, you're not the first person to tell me Majora's Mask is better than Ocarina, despite what reviews say (something about being quite intense story wise and having a never before used mechanic with three days being repeated over and over)?
Yeah... I probably won't get mine until early June if not later. Mainly because I want to see what kind of games come out on it and see if there is any refurb discounts by then.ProfessorLayton said:As a fan of Professor Layton, World of Goo, and Plants vs. Zombies, I believe charm can sell a game. And the charm definitely sold this game to me. Gotta get my money ready for June 19th, then...

Anyway, I'm definitely getting a 3DS once this, Star Fox, and the new Paper Mario are out, and hopefully by then the price will have dropped a good amount.
Yeah, I've got a feeling that the 3DS will be $250 for a long time. And I point to the fact that Super Mario Galaxy 1 is still $40 used at GameStop. Nintendo won't drop the price until well after Christmas.
I honestly think the 3DS is worth the $250 I paid for it, but if I were you I'd at least wait until the internet browser update comes out and that's scheduled for late May.
