The really cringeworthy part is that the people actually used their official email addresses to sign up for this porn. You'd expect them to use a different sign in. :L

It's like the whole Bethesda thing: "We just stole a shit ton of info from you, bitches and posted it online. We may have caused you financial harm and set back the release of Skyrim, and damaged people's faith in your company, but we're only doing it because we love you!"
What Bethesda thing? I, apparently, am missing something. :/
EDIT: It's cool, found the article.

While it is admittedly stupid to use ones work e-mail on a porn site, these guys are the literal scum of the earth for attempting to ruin people lives 'For teh Lulz'

"These guys probably sign into Facebook with the same email/pass combo, so we suggest the following:" Why is that funny? You're trying to destroy these people.

I doubt the 'LulzSec' would find it funny to be nailed to the ground and set on fire so I could 'Get some Lulz' although I most certainly would.
In fact, I'd be laughing my ass off because they're going through a physical equivalent to what they do to people.

Seriously, these guys are the definition of 'Scum-bag'. Only that definition's on steroids and crystal meth.

GOD. BLESS. LULZSEC.
God bless lulzsec so you can have free access to pay-for-porn sites? or bless them because they're trying their best to seriously fuck-up peoples lives so they can get a quick laugh?

I'm honestly curious.

Well isn't that... unexpected. Not in that I didn't expect people working for the government to have accounts on porn sites, just that they'd use a government email address for it. Seems like bad decision making.
Isn't that why they're working for the government? (OH SNAP!)

Anyways, this is one of the less infuriating things Lulzsec have done, and I find it depressing yet hilarious that more people are freaking out about this than their other exploits.

My relative who works network security on a US Army base would call this discovery "Monday." Seriously, the average adult American is idiotically stupid with their online security, and military personnel on the whole are no better. That isn't to say that my online info is like Fort Knox, but there are some simple guidelines to avoid 90% of the danger. It's sad when even high-ranking officers have to be called on the carpet for exposing their work systems to porn-related viruses. Don't jerk it at work: that's just basic common sense.

my "problem" with this

1. ehmm ever used hotmail or gmail? doh
2. you pay for porn, wait I repeat pay for porn?
3. for what reason do you hack a porn site if not to watch porn? "humiliate" others sure -"look stupid paid for pron.."-..
4. the "users" of these sites gets punished why exactly? (not just the porn sites sony/nintendo and so on) leaking personal data....

(if nothing else that seems to sum up the thoughts of most here)

What lulsec hacks is not news. I realize it's tempting to post sensational garbage like this in order to compete with major sites like IGN, but it only encourages egomaniacs to continue their behavior. For the same reason that major news outlets don't air rhetoric from al-Qaeda or other terrorist organizations, pointless grandstanding from cyber terrorists should be ignored as well. To consider yourself a journalist, its helpful to at least demonstrate some semblance of ethical journalism.

No one cares what you think.

Most of the people here don't mind hearing about it. You shouldn't get so emotionally invested in what a news-related website does and does not decide to post. Don't degrade yourself.

Uh, your kind of people are the people who try their best to destroy the lives of other people?
That's not a good thing, you know.

god damnit people, THERE IS FREE PORN ALL OVER THE INTERNET! stop incriminating yourself so ignorantly!

i never thought i would say this, but if you cant keep your porn in check, you have no business being a government official of anything. adultery and bastard children are one thing, but covering up your porn never has to be any more complicated than erasing your browser history...

...and using your actual e-mail? what is wrong with you people?! you deserve getting hacked for this level of stupidity! fucking teenagers cover their tracks better than you!

not the destroying peoples lives part, the increasing internet security part. im not saying this was a saintly action, im just saying that its probably benifitial in the long run.

Yeah, I suppose it would be if they were actually trying to increase internet security, which they're not. They're just getting laughs by destroying the personal lives of others.
